Hello my fellow Fanfiction otakus! Here is the official rewrite of my story "Light of Academy City."

Like I said before, this is a far more fleshed out story than the original (hopefully).

I haven't seen any reactions to my old one - probably because I am too lazy XD - so I wonder how this one will go?

As you can see from the title, things... are very different than what you expected it to be.

But please don't jump to conclusions yet. It will get better I promise!!!

Without a further ado, lets get to the Prologue!!!

The sky was dark and the rain was pouring. Lightning crackled while the thunder boomed.

The weather alone truly formed a gloomy atmosphere. A setting that fit perfectly towards a certain couple in a certain hospital.

A man was walking back and forth in panic.

His clothes were completely soaked. Whether from sweat or rain, he didn't know. Nor did he even care.

Right now, he was focused on only one thing.

Glancing up, the sign "Surgery in Process" was still glowing red. The operating room for the surgery of his beloved wife was continuing for hours.

However, even the stamina of a loving husband had his limits. Slowly getting tired, the man collapsed in the seat right beside the wall.

A hospital was normally crowded with people, even during nighttime.

Yet for some reason, the place was nearly silent. There was barely any people around, especially true for the ER room where the man was.

The man looked crestfallen. His hands covered his face, as well as his gritting teeth.

'Why... why did this have to happen. My Shiina...'

Tears fell down the wife of the now named "Shiina", just wondering how things went so... so wrong.

Flashback

"Hm hm hm~."

Driving home from work, the very same man from earlier was found humming with joy. Why wouldn't he? After all, he had everything he ever wanted.

A proper job and a house, check.

A beautiful loving wife, check.

Their soon-to-be child, check.

His life was a perfect standard for a normal life. It was difficult for him to imagine that something will go horribly, HORRIBLY wrong.

He was interrupted by a sound coming from the front of his car.

"Hm?"

Looking at the screen, a phone call was just registered by the car.

"Oh, I am so glad I bought this."

The more expensive cars are capable of connecting their phones to the cars. This makes it easy to use navigators, watch videos, and of course call others.
