Chapter 3: Friday Night Football (part 1)

Wow!

Was all I could say I mean there were lots of people here I was not expecting that many.

The bleachers were crowded with Thorton fans on one side and Lion fans on the other. This game was most likely the biggest of there season considering it was a rival game. So I guess that's why everyone is here.

The crowd was so energetic and happy, every one was on there feet jumping and smiling. I mean if this is how they are now I can't wait to see the game start.

"Come on lets go get our seats" Natalie yelled over the loud crowd.

She grabbed my hand and dragged me right in the middle, so we could get a good view.

"So who do you think is gonna win?" Natalie asked while smiling.

"Duhhh Thorton, Jax is gonna kickass tonight." Said Grey sitting down next to us and putting his arm around Natalie. Yup he's her boyfriend.

Grey is tall not a football player...thats obvious cause if so he would be on the field. He prefers soccer and he's really good. Anyways he has chocolate brown eyes and light brown hair.

"Hey" Natalie said giving him a peck on the lips. I feel like a perve watching them I turned my head just as the anouncer came on.

"Now give it up for our very own Thorton High."

The cheerleaders held up the banner and out came the football players...Jax first, with his helment in hand and running to the right side of the field.

The crowd went crazy and everyone stood up other then the opposing side.

"Now give it up for the Lions"

Out came a team with gold and black and they looked extremely energetic and ready to play.

I looked over to Jax as he blew a kiss my way before running to the middle of the field.

"Let the games begin!!!" The anouncer cheered through the speakers.

Thorton gets ball first.

Jax did some weird signal then passed the ball to the guy in front of him. At least I thought he did, jax ran down the field defense blocking. Everyone one was confused before they all chased after him but it was too late he made the first touch down of the game.

...

The crowd went crazy as the last play was made before halftime. The players ran off the field to the locker room.

"The score 27/21 Thorton in the lead. Now for our halftime show Let's give it up for our Thorton cheerleaders" The anouncer spoke through the speakers once again.

The girls walked out Samantha in the front and the music started. Samantha smiled and waved before breaking out into a back flip and begining the routine.

"Im gonna go to the restroom and get something to drink" I told Natalie.

I walked down the stairs and headed towards the girls restroom, I opened the door did my business then left.

I walked to the line that was filled with people.

Are you kidding me all I want is a bag of chips and a drink. I reached for my phone to tell Natalie it was gonna take long but realized it wasn't there.

Poop sometimes I'm really forgetful, I left the phone in my car so I ran out to the parking lot gazing through the lines of cars.

I saw a group of three boys hanging around a truck laughing and smoking. I hate smoking it's disgusting and they shouldn't be doing it in a public place like this it's selfish.

"Hey. What in the world are you doing"
I yelled over at them. As I moved closer I noticed they all had red cups and weren't stable at all.

Yup they were definitely drunk/high...is that even possible.

"Where having a picnic, what does it look like princess." Said the tallest one in the middle with sarcasm laced in his voice.

I recognized that deep husky voice and only one person has called me princess before. I gasped and look up it was definitely him.

"What do you want?" he asked in a annoyed tone.

Well then rude much. "You know what, if you guys weren't so drunk off your butts and loud I wouldn't have said anything."

The boy on the right stumbled up and I swear he mumbled out"whats up her ass."

"There's a huge stadium filled with people and your complaining about us being loud." The boy spoke again but more fluently.

"They might be loud but not drunk, so I advice you to leave before you do something stupid." I snapped

"Stupid huh" Mystery guy said again walking closer to me and locking his intense eyes with mine. I gulped and took a step back.

"Umm wh-what are y-you doing" I stuttered out.

He just stared at me, I looked down feeling uncomfortable under his gaze. His arm rested on my upper back causing me to shiver. He dipped his neck and brought his lips closer to my ear.

"The names Luke Hamilton" he whispered.

He steped back, the boy on the right flashed me a smile then they all got in the truck and drove off.

"Bye princess" Luke yelled down the road.

"My name's Mia" I yelled back but knew he didn't here, jerk.

Luke . Luke Hamilton. Nice name kid nice name.

I walked back to the stands and went to my seat.

"Where's the drinks and why did it take so long?" Natalie asked with big eyes.

I laughed at her expression causing her to frown "What?" She said.

"Nothing. Anyway there were just some douches that I got into a pointless conversation with." I said calmly

I turned back around to the game that was just begining to start again.
