Around Every Corner

   Everyone was talking to one another and were eating some of the food they had. Carley was handing out food to the everyone. Ben, Christa, Mark, Omid, and Douge were over sitting down on a log. Duck was reading his comic book in the train car. Lee was on watch looking around. Chuck was playing his guitar. Kenny and Kat were in the train car as well.

Y/N was examining the hat Clem gave him and trailed his ungloved thumb over the embroidered letter. He then fit it back on his head and saw the curly haired girl messing with his ushanka. She was petting it and messing with the ear flaps.

He chuckled at the sight and went over. She smiled and looked up at him and booped his nose. He turned red and poked her back...And eventually it turned into horseplay. They laughed and play fought until the two slumped back and looked up at the clouded sky. 

The masked boy sighed and got up and went follow back down on the tracks. Clem followed close and put the ushanka on. 

She was balancing onto one side of the track as did Y/N. The two both attempted to make one another lose balance and dodge the other. They laughed and smiled but Y/N quickly stopped and saw the horde walking to them. 

He froze...The boy couldn't move a muscle until Clem yanked down on his arm. They rushed and ran to the group.

She shouted "HORDE!" She huffed and breathed heavily.

The group got ready and everyone who had a gun and got ready. But there was something falling from the sky...

It was a chunk of earth that hit the tankard it falls and crashes down.

Lee yelled to them "Get in the train car! Now!" 

Everyone swiftly rushed to the train car and piled in. Kenny then got the train going again...Escaping the horde once again.

They kept going on that train until there was no more track. The group got off the train and took what they could and headed into the town.

The whole place seemed barren and empty...No sight of zombies or survivors. Everything was gone. The group made their way in and stayed alert and quiet. None dared to make a sound. 

Clem walked along side with Lee and stared at the walkie talkie she decorated with flower stickers. Lee looked back to her and saw that she was staring at the walkie talkie.

She asked, "Can't I just hold it?"

He said back to her as they walked the street "Not now Clementine. Maybe later, okay?"

She frowned and nodded "Okay..."

Y/N kept close to Duck to make sure that he wouldn't get too loud. 

Duck was chuckling and asked, "Why is we do we have to be so quiet?"

The boy though for a minute and made up "Well...Because we're on a secret mission and we need to make sure the bad guys can't find us."

He nodded "Oh-"

Y/M shushed him.

Duck then smiled and nodded and said quieter "Oh...Got it." And remained silent as he could. 

After only a few seconds deafening church bells rang out stopping everyone dead in their tracks. 

Ben narrowed his eyes and looked around "What the Hell?"

Mark gripped down on the M1 Garand and his eyes darked around "Shit..."

Everyone got on high alert. 

Christa spoke quietly "Maybe this city isn't so dead after all..."

Kenny turned to everyone and explained "Keep moving. No one's ringing that bell...It's automatic, on a timer."

Lee then looked to his watch "What kind of church bell goes off 20 passed the hour?"

He looked to the church bell and saw a hooded figure dash across the roof and disappear.

The wide eye man yelled to the group "Someone up there."

Ben looked to the direction "Are you sure? I don't see anything."

Carley looked as well but before anyone could say anything the radio came on.
