"What? Which audience?" The bartender tried to play dumb, casually cleaning a new glass with a cloth to polish it to perfection while facing his back to the customer who was sluggishly sitting on the bar stool.
He really wanted to make Uki another drink to stop him from questioning the by now very anxious bartender. However it wouldn't end so well, especially in his more than drunk shape.
"Nooooo" Uki hiccuped, his index finger pointing at the gray haired while letting his head hang low, he wasn't in the right state of mind to sit properly on the stool nor to form reasonable sentences. "Yooou were there, I know it." Uki said once again since his previous whine was ignored by Fulgur.
"Don't play dumb! You were watching me perform today." The idol mumbled to himself, now becoming unsure if Fulgur really was the one who attended the live performance. He was sure that his hazy and blurry eyesight wasn't playing tricks on him. He could've sworn he made eye contact with a pretty gray haired male – which actually was quite a surprised since it was rare to see a fanboy, a pretty one to be particular.
Meanwhile Fulgur felt like the worst person alive once he saw the frown on Uki's face. Even if he wanted to tell the idol to that it was indeed him at the show, he possibly couldn't bring himself to. On one hand he felt like exposing his deepest little secret, on the other he was too scared for Uki's reaction. Would he immediately walk out the door once he found out about Fulgur's pretend act?
"Hello? Fulgur? Fufuuu? Fanboy? Babe?" The purple haired waved his hand in front of the bartender's face to snap him out of his thoughts. Taken aback by the nicknames, Fulgur shivered a bit, then he place the glass down on the counter to lean against it with both of this hands.
"I honestly don't know what you're talking about. Maybe you should stop drinking for today?" Fulgur proposed, his hand subconsciously finding its way up to fix a strand of purple hair which had fallen in Uki's eye.
Immediately shooting backwards in the seat, thus almost falling over while sitting on the bar stool, Uki fixed his hair himself, trying to hide the blush which was forming on his already flushed face.
"Thanks..." The smaller whispered under his breath, brushing his bangs further into his face with his hands to hide his red cheeks. Where did the bartender's boldness suddenly come from?
"Still wanna drink a bit more." The idol breathed out with closed eyes, the sleepiness was slowly getting to him. Even if the bar was quite loud due to so many people being there, Uki didn't mind the background noises. For some reason he felt calm and comforted while sitting in front of the gray haired.
"It was you, I know it was you." The idol mumbled over and over again as if he was trying to convince himself and the male in front of him. Why couldn't he just admit it?
Fulgur let out a long sigh, debating with himself if he should tell the truth or not. More important, he had to take care of the idol first. After all he couldn't let Uki go home all by himself in that state.
