It was morning, and the sun shines upon a sleeping Skye. She fluttered her eyes open and yawned and then stretched and laid back down.

But then she saw her friends all sleeping in front of her. "Um, guys, what are you doing?" Skye asked.
Her voice woke the other pups up.
"Skye!" They all shouted and ran over to her and cuddled her in a hug.
She was going to ask, but she just decided to enjoy it.
...
Everyone was outside helping Skye move around to gather her strength back. She then walks over to Chase. She laid her head on his chest and smiled.
(Get ready to go "aww")

With her eyes still closed as her head still laid upon his chest, she started to speak. "Thank you for finding me, Chase," she said gratefully.
"Your welcome, Skye."
"I know this isn't a good time, but what did it look like?" Rubble asked.
"What did what look like?" She asked as she opened her eyes with her head off of Chase.
"You know, the beast?" He pondered.
Skye's eyes shrunk in terror after he asked her that.
"Rubble," Chase said.
"Sorry, Rubble, but I really don't want to talk about something that nearly ate me," she said.
"My bad," Rubble replied back.
"At least you're safe now," Rocky said as Rubble nods in agreement.
"Thanks for the support, guys. But I don't think anyone in Adventure Bay is safe with that thing still out there," Skye said.
"We hafta find it before it attacks anyone else in Adventure Bay," Zuma told his friend. "But since you still need to recover, why don't we just wait before going to find it again, ok Skye?" Zuma asked.
"Good idea, Zuma. And just a suggestion, let's all head into the city to see how the good people of Adventure Bay are doing," Skye suggested to get their minds off the beast that attacked her. "How about we also make it a race?" Skye asked.
The other pups looked at each other and went "uh."
"I don't know, Skye. I don't think it's a good idea to race after what happened last night," the little German Shepherd thought. "I don't want you getting more hurt than you already were."
"Pleeeeeaaaaasssse?" Skye said longingly with her puppy eyes and her paws raised at her chest.
Chase pulled his back a little in surprise. Then, he stood firm.
"Sorry, Skye, but I don't want you to get hurt," he said.
Skye continued to give her innocent glare to Chase.
Chase inhaled and released a defeated sigh. "Okay, Skye, we'll race. But would you like a headstart?"
"Don't worry about little ol' me, Chase. Besides, I wouldn't want you to hold back because of me," she told him.
"Alright, then. If you say so. Okay, Pups, on your marks, get set, go!" He said as he and the others started racing into town with Skye a few meters behind. She tried to catch up to the bigger pups but was still a bit wounded from her attacker.
But then, Skye could feel the strength of a raging fire burning within her, and soon, she was running even more faster than she ever did before. With this newfound speed, she was able to race past Chase and the others, causing them to stop as they witnessed her speed.
"Whoa," they said altogether. Then, they got up to try to catch up to her.
Back with Skye...
Skye was about to reach the town. She then remembered she passed her friends and skidded to a halt, leaving a dirt trail in her midst.

Image description: Skye was panting very fast because of how fast she went. She slowly looked behind and saw how far she was from Chase and the others.
"That.... was weird," she said. She looked at her paws and decided to ask herself.
....
....
"What's happening to me?"
Apparently, she was being watched by four people. Three were white men while one was brown. The first white one began to speak.
"Well, guys, looks like the beast is still here and we must find it quickly. Spread out," he said.
