Chapter 12

Teja started to gain her consciousness slowly.....She tried to open her eyes but the due to lights she closed it again...

Once again she opened them slowly and adjusted to the lights and saw herself in the hospital bed....

She tried to sit but felt something heavy on her stomach....she looked downwards and went aww looking at the scene...

Karan who came to hospital after changing send her parents and his father home though they were reluctant but he somehow convinced them...

He also sent omi and parveez too and came inside her room....

He looked at her and kissing her forehead , he kept his head on her stomach and unknowingly fell asleep...

And that is the seen she saw.....she slowly started to shake him...

Karan who got alerted sat up straight and saw for his laddoo sitting and thqat is the sight he was waiting for so without wasting a moment he hugged her but keeping her health in mind to which she reciprocated....

Breaking the hug he kissed her forehead....

Kar(caressing her cheek):Laddoo tu thik hain... r u feeling pain.

Teja(softly): I'm fine sunny but what happened to me why I'm in hospital...

Then Karan narrated her everything what all happened and listening from him that now she is totally  fine tears started to fall from her eyes.

Teja(in tears): Sunny mein thik hogayi....I'm fine now sunny.....Mein bhi zindagi jee sakti hu.

Kar(wiping her tears): Haa laddoo tu thik hogayi hain aur sabb mein tujhe kahin jaane nahi dunga.

Then Karan called the doctor who checked her and assured him that she is fine now and he will come later to which he nodded....

Then Karan remembered about the diary and he got up to bring it...

Teja saw him searching something and when she saw her diary her face paled...

Karan saw her face and he knew its now or never....

Kar(blankly): No lies only truth.

Teja(with a sigh): Remember few years back u went in a cruise party in Dubai for business matter.

Karan tried to recall it and yes he remembered and nodded at her but again something clicked him....

Kar(hurriedly): wait wait wait that day a lady helped me to crack a deal through her assistant as that deal was too important to me..........Was that u?

Teja shut her eyes and nodded her head lightly and karan was shocked once again....

Teja(continued): That day I was also present there when I saw u standing on the deck of cruise and shouting on phone don't know why but I felt a sudden pull towards u and me being curious tried to listen your conversation and came to know about the deal and told my pa to help u....I kind of started liking you but shrugged it off thinking  we won't cross paths ever but fate made me meet u once again and your respect in my heart increased when next day you helped an old woman in the road by giving her money and arranged a shelter for her.

While recalling the memories she had a fond smile on her face and well about Karan he looked at her in amuse and surprise that this girl remembered everything and knows the smallest things about him which no one noticed till now....

Teja(continued): And that day I did a background check on you and wanted to know everything about u but then I came to know u have a girlfriend and is in a happy relationship and I came to know about my disease and then a sudden urge for acting made me come in Mumbai and rest is history.

Karan looked at her with a straight face and looking at him teju got scared for a moment but then he hugged her tightly suddenly which she didn't expect but them hugged him back....

Kar(breaking the hug): I'm speechless right now.....If that day u wouldn't have helped me then i don't know.

He kissed her forehead and she closed her eyes in reflex.....

Then he took care of her and made her eat something light and due to medicine effect she slept in no time....

But sleep is faraway from karan's eyes as he is trying to solve some unanswered questions...

Kar(caressing her hairs): I don't know but I feel something is wrong laddoo....something big happened that day years back....and now when I know the truth I will surely try to found it out about it.
