Linne pov- I was lying down in bed pondering my existence. Hundreds of years have passed, but my life seems meaningless. Everyone ends up becoming a sacrifice for me, despite me just wanting to embrace death.

"It's a pain in the ass" I sighed, rolling around in bed making sure not to wake up my comrades. I looked over at my friends who were sleeping soundly. My eyes were attracted to Hyde. Hyde is so full of life and has a lot to live for, but he got dragged into the fray because of me.

I let out a sigh as I closed my eyes trying to sleep, hoping one day it would be eternal. I just want the curse of being an in-birth to end.

Soon enough, morning hit. It was the same as always. Nothing happened besides people spreading rumors about vampires prowling the night, but those were nothing but rumors with no merit. I have lived my life in the night and not once have I seen a blood-sucking demon.

"Linne, come here" Hyde said with a shit-eating grin. I reluctantly went over to where he was. He pointed at some guys. " You should try asking them out" he said, kind of pushing me towards them.

I let out a snarl, glaring at him in annoyance. " Those guys look like they kidnap little girls like me" I spat. Hyde looked at me in confusion.

"I thought you didn't like to be called a little girl" he snicked. I grabbed my sword no name, and swung it at him. "Linne, what was that for!?" Hyde yelled in a confused tone. I just ignored him. "linne wai-" he called out for me, but was interrupted by the screams of a girl.

"Hyde Kido I'm here for revenge for what you did to me" Yelled the girl as she instantly started attacking him, destroying the peaceful setting "urk.. Nanase!" Hyde said, taking a step back before running.

"Same old, same old" I groaned, walking down the nearby path. Nothing in life is different. All it is is fighting and constant suffering.

As soon as the day started, it ended just as fast if not faster. Time keeps ticking on and there is no point. I'm someone from the past that overstayed their welcome. I thought to myself, looking to see if Hyde had made it back to our room, yet I didn't see or hear him, so I decided to go out and try to enjoy the night.

"Its so boring" I sighed. Nothing much had happened in Kanzaki in the past few days. Hilda had been awfully quiet. We can't act if she doesn't do anything. A few people walked the streets. I overheard gossip about sightings of vampires in the alleyways of Misaki. " People really are worrying about a myth" I mumbled, continuing on my way.

Over the horizon, I saw someone lying on the ground. I ran over to check it out and I was met by Vatista. "Oh it's just the doll..." I sighed I talked loud enough to wake the autonomic nerve up.

"m-morning" she yawned as she got up and stretched, looking lifeless as she rubbed her eyes trying to see clearly "M-mistress Linne?" She questioned, her vision still blurred as she continued to rub them

I wondered what she was doing outside but chose not to ask since shes known to sleep anywhere and everywhere she could. I looked at her. I was thinking of leaving her there but she looked so cute I couldn't resist. I held out my arm. " Come with me doll", I sighed, trying to hide my true feelings. She immediately held onto my hand, holding it tightly.

I went back to the room to get some rest, dragging the girl along with me. She seemed really happy to see me. I thought as we finally reached the room Hyde still hadn't arrived yet

"You can sleep on the ground" I said, rubbing my neck and yawning in exhaustion. Vatista nodded. I got into bed and closed my eyes.

Maybe tomorrow will be eventful. I thought, hoping for the endless cycle of nothing to end.
