Drive to Survive [Lando Norris]

As Willow finished her make up and had put on her navy satin dress and black heels, she took a deep breath before exiting the bathroom and went into the bedroom where Pierre were sat on the bed waiting for his teammate to get ready for the date. 

"So? What do you think?" Willow nervously said as Pierre was now looking at her and she did a little spin so her curled hair bounced up and down. 

Pierre looked at her with wide eyes. "You look amazing, Will" he smiled. 

"You think so?" Willow asked, still feeling nervous as hell. She wasn't very good at feeling confident about herself or the way she looked. 

"I know so, Will." Pierre reassured her, but he noticed that she wasn't quite taking in his words, so he grabbed her hands and pulled her down to sit besides him. 

"Hey, it's all gonna be just fine. I promise you, you look like a million dollars. And I can see how much you like Lando and how much he likes you. It's gonna be an amazing night and you just need to relax a bit, okay?" Pierre said, making Willow slightly calm down. 

She took a deep breath before looking at her teammate again.

"Thank you, Pierre. How on Earth would I survive without you" she chuckled to which Pierre laughed. 

"it's simple. You wouldn't" the two teammates laughed before Pierre checked the time. 

"Well, I better go. He's picking you up in 5. Now remember to just have fun and enjoy the evening." Pierre let out and gave Willow a quick hug before leaving the hotel room. 

And right enough, about 5 minutes later, a knock came on the door and Willow took about a thousand deep breaths before she opened the door. 

As soon as Landos eyes landed on Willow, he dropped his jaw on the floor. He swallowed the lump in his throat before a wide smile spread on his face. 

"Wow..." he stuttered, unable to keep his eyes off of her, "you look... wow" he breathed, letting out a smile as he finally pulled himself together. 

Willow blushed, looking at the ground before meeting Landos eyes again, "Thank you, Lando. You look quite handsome yourself" she chuckled, looking at him. 

Lando was wearing a black shirt with the first couple of buttons unbuttoned, and the sleeves rolled up a bit, exposing some of his chest and the small silver neckless hanging around his neck, and also exposing his wrist where he had a few bracelets. He also wore a pair of black jeans with some simple white sneakers and a silver ring on his finger. His smooth curls were sitting perfectly, allowing a few small curls to fall on his forehead making him look absolutely stunning. And on top of that, his cologne made him smell amazing

The pair starred at each other for a few seconds before Lando reached out his hand, and with a slight chuckle and a huge smile on Willows face, she accepted and held onto his hand. 

"So, where are we going?" Willow asked curiously, since Lando had only told her to wear something nice, but other than that, she had no idea, what to expect. 

"You'll see. I have a few things planned" Lando smiled, looking at Willow with an excited expression. 

"Well, lead the way then" She laughed, following Lando.

The pair stepped into the surprisingly warm evening air in the streets of Monte-Carlo. Willow was rather excited to see what Lando had come up with for the date. 

But her excitement soon grew into confusion as Lando led the two of them round a corner that led to a weird and rather dark alley. 

"Um Lando... is this the part where you kill me or something?" Willow chuckled, slightly nervous as she tightened her grib around his arm. 

She felt the laughter vibrate through Lando's body before he looked at her, his eyes sparkling under the dimmed city lights. 

"I'm not a serial killer, if that's what you're asking." he laughed, "Just trust me on this, okay?" Lando asked, and though Willow was still nervous, she nodded. She trusted him. 

After walking all the way down the dark alley, their surroundings suddenly changed. It went from creepy and weird to absolutely stunning. As the alley faded out, a new area came in sight. It almost took her breath away as Willow just stared in awe. 

Tall buildings in warm colors surrounded the place, forming a square. The square was paved with cobblestones and in almost every ground floor of the different buildings, cute restaurants or bars or small shops filled the square with fairy lights and laughter coming from the guests. Beautiful trees and plants were placed as such, making it look like wonderland. The square wasn't very big, but it was just perfect. And from one of the restaurants, jazz music was filling the air, creating a perfect atmosphere. 

"Holy...." Willow breathed out. 

"Do you like it?" Lando asked hopefully. 

"Are you kidding? This is stunning, I love it!" She squealed with excitement, and out of her reflexes, she gave Lando a quick but tight hug before taking a few steps into the café-square or whatever they called it. 

 "How the hell did you find this place?" Willow asked, still in disbelief at the sight. 

Lando had carefully grabbed her hand, guiding her towards the restaurant right next to the live music. The place was not very crowded, and everyone seemed to be in their own little dreamland, but it was perfect. That way the pair could have their date in peace, without fans or paparazzies. 

"Actually... Charles helped me" Lando explained, making Willow look at him in slight surprise. 

"Really?" she asked, making Lando nod. 

"Yeah. I asked him, if he knew a perfect spot for a first date, and then he told me about this" Lando continued. 

"Did he ask about the date then?" Willow asked making Lando flash her a smile as the pair sat down, waiting for a waiter. 

"Well, he asked me who I was going on a date with, but I kinda played it off as if I was helping a friend. I didn't mention you or... us" he replied, their conversation only cut short when a waiter came over and took their orders of wine and the restaurants special dish. 

"And he actually bought it?" Willow slightly chuckled, feeling herself getting completely lost in Lando's eyes. She forgot everything else around her and just focused on him. The butterflies in her stomach were going insane. 

"I think so. But I guess only time will tell" he shrugged. 

The pair continued their talk and Willow found herself wishing for this moment to last forever. It was just perfect.

A/N Sorry that this update took forever. I am trying to get back in this story as I am determined to finish it at some point. Hopefully, next update will be out within a week, but I can't promise anything <3
