The whole taxi drive back to Willow's house was complete silence, but Willow hadn't let go of Lando's hand since the club. They finally made it back and they got out and walked towards her front door, where Lando finally stopped walking causing Willow to turn around.
"What?" She asked confused and still affected by the alcohol.
"Shouldn't we talk about what just happened? Are you okay?" he asked pulling her a bit closer and gently stroking her bare arm.
"I'm fine, it doesn't matter" she replied looking at him.
"Of course it does, he was your friend" Lando said in a calming voice.
"Not if he calls you an asshole" she said with a little smile.
"Thanks though, for sticking up for me" he said with a little smile as Willow unlocked the front door.
"Wanna come in?" she asked and Lando happily accepted.
They walked inside and into the kitchen where Willow got them both a glass of water.
"God, I'm never drinking again, I'm so tired" she yawned earning a little chuckle from Lando, "What?" she asked giggling.
"You're just cute, when you're tired" Lando smirked leaning against the kitchen counter.
"You think, I'm cute?" she said smirking back. None of them were sober that was for sure. They usually wasn't this honest and straight forward.
"Well yeah, of course I do" he replied watching her walking closer and closer to him after putting her glass of water down.
Soon they were just standing there inches away from each other starring into each others eyes. Willow's heart was for sure beating faster than usual.
"Why did it take so long for us to be friends?" Lando said almost in a whisper with the tension still sky high.
"I don't know... I've never been good at friends" she replied and suddenly felt a warm feeling spread across her whole body when Lando wiped a stray of hair out of her face and behind her ear.
And her heart began beating even faster when his hand didn't leave her face again, but instead it was gently stroking her cheek as he didn't look away.
"Fuck it" Lando whispered before crashing his lips onto her tasting the alcohol and the sweet sops lips belonging to Willow.
In the drunken chaos, and maybe also in the back of Willow's head, something clicked and she didn't push him away. Instead she pulled herself even closer and wrapped her arms around his neck while their lips moved in sync.
Willow was then pushed against the wall as Lando's hands snuck around her and his hungry lips continued to kiss her. The feeling of satisfaction occurred as Willow let her mouth open slightly allowing Lando to get closer and a soft moan escaping from Willow.
None of them seemed to have the intension of stopping, but came to realize that they also had to catch their breath eventually. They broke apart both heavily breathing, and feelings were all over the place, and Willow's palms were all sweaty.
And as they were standing there still with their arms wrapped around each other, none of them said anything. They just looked into each others eyes. They may have both been very affected by the alcohol very much still in their systems, and if they had been sober, it probably wouldn't have happened like that, but still... drunken actions are just sober thoughts, right?
"We should get some sleep" Willow whispered burying her head into Lando's shoulder as they were kinda just embracing each other right now.
"Yeah... we should" Lando spoke slowly.
"You can stay in my guestroom upstairs to the right, if you want" Willow said looking back up at Lando.
"Thank you" he said, his eyes flickering from her eyes to her lips.
"Well uh... goodnight then" she said and the pair let go of each other.
"Goodnight Willow" Lando said before Willow rushed upstairs to her own room closing the door.
When the door was closed Willow leaned against it trying with a drunken mind to process what had just happened. Did she really just kiss Lando? Not just Lando, but a guy she was racing against.
Her hands brushed against her lips, where Lando's lips had been attached just a minute ago, and she felt a smile creep onto her face. She quickly washed it away and went to the bathroom getting ready for bed.
--
Waking up with a headache the next day wasn't exactly ideal for Willow. She still had to work out and get a few things done today, and preparing herself for the trip to Portugal in a few days.
And on top of that she clearly remembered what happened in the kitchen last night between her and Lando, and she was shit scared to face him right now.
She was so confused and her feelings were all over the place, and she didn't wanna hurt him or anything like that. She just really needed some peace in her mind and some time alone to try and figure out what the hell all this meant.
But right now she couldn't do that because Lando was still sleeping in the guestroom right besides Willow's room in her own house. So, she couldn't exactly sneak out and run back home, since she was already home.
Instead she went to her bathroom and took a nice long shower, brushed her teeth, dried her hair and threw on a sweater and a pair of sweatpants.
After a rather long debate with herself, she finally opened the door to her room and stepped out of it. She walked towards the stairs where sudden music could be heard. With a confused look on her face, she walked downstairs and into the kitchen where her confused look grew even wider.
Right there in her kitchen with his back turned towards Willow, Lando was standing making some breakfast while singing along to the song on the radio and randomly swaying around.
Willow couldn't really decide or figure out what she was feeling right now, but the warm feeling her body wasn't familiar, but it also wasn't uncomfortable.
She had no idea for how long she had been standing there, just starring at Lando. But suddenly he turned around and smiled when he noticed her, standing there with two plates of food in his hands.
"I've made breakfast" He smiled.
