What have I done to deserve this feeling?
This beautiful,
Surreal,
Gut wrenching,
Euphoric feeling
Of course it has to happen now
When I'm finally realizing
The weight taken off of me
And realizing it too long after it had been lifted
And being replaced with this feeling
This beautiful,
Blissful,
Reckless,
Felicitous feeling
Your words of encouragement
Your charisma and charm
Your wonderful sense of humor
Your smile and laugh for every occasion
Everything about your being;
Your very existence;
Sets my heart aflame
And it hasn't stopped burning for you
Yes, there have been times
Where that object of burning passion
Had been doused
When we couldn't see each other
It felt horrible to lose
Even a pinch of that feeling
That beautiful,
Heart warming,
Terrifying,
Marvelous feeling
I'm afraid to tell you this
Maybe you're not ready to hear it
Or maybe we're in the same boat
And we just haven't turned around
To even notice the other person inside it
It took me a while to recognize
What this feeling was
This beautiful,
Euphoric,
Felicitous,
Marvelous feeling
But now...
I think I know
I love you.
