The Summer Obsession

Chapter 2

It's been a few days since I became Princess Meira Isolde. I currently reading a book in the library about this Kingdom. Ever since I have been reincarnated in this place,  I also wonder what kind of disease I have.

"Princess, it's time for a walk in the garden," Reime said while escorting me outside the library. 

This countryside is not typical, it looks like the capital but the difference is the people around here treat you fairly and equally.

"Milady you are here"

"Are you taking a walk in the garden milady"

"Milady these roses symbolize you" 

My lips suddenly form a gentle smile to them and they were stunned looking at me. I confusedly look at them.

"I can die now peacefully"

"She's so cute and pretty"

"Yes, yes the smile that we await"

"Hehe" I grin at them and wave them goodbye before I go to the garden. I sit in front of the tree and stare at the sky.

"Why would you reincarnate me into this sick person?" The truth is, before I became Princess Meira, I was a sickly woman whose house is in the hospital. Do they punish me? Did I do wrong?

I look at the sky with a depressed face, but eventually, I smile at the sky. 

"Thank you, I've been out of hell because of you but this is much more hell" and close my eyes, I was the only one on this side of the garden. It was so peaceful and I take a short nap.

Eventually, I open my eyes, and I was in an unfamiliar place, a room with a blank space. I walk around the room and a painting caught my eye. 

I carelessly touch the painting and suddenly a variety of memories has come up in my mind. Someone is fighting, fighting for their lives, there are also who are been killed and the surroundings are like a battle of blood and death. 

Blood is scattered everywhere and the last man standing is looking at me with his red eyes full of anger. I can't move, feels like my body has been a freeze in this place. The man is slowly walking in my direction with his sword that is ready to kill me. I close my eyes but suddenly.

"Fvck, what are you doing here?!" I came back to my senses and I look at the painting once more and look at the person who was talking to me.

"Who are you?" I look at him with a confused look. I notice that he's a pretty old man with white hair and red eyes. He's looking at me angrily.

"How did you come here?!" he immediately put his sword directly at my neck. 

"I d-didn't know" and look at him with no fear. But suddenly as he looked at me intensely, he became confused.

"You? you came back? how did you come back?" he suddenly hugs me, what happened to the old man who was angry at me and in a minute he became soft.

"Who are you?" he looks at me with his happy smile.

"I'm your grandpa, Lavelle, a grandpa within your mind" Is he dead? suddenly he nods and my eyes turn big did he just read my mind?!

"Yes, don't be afraid, you came here because it's time" 

"Time?" I questioningly said to him

"Yes, the time that you became the savior of everyone in the kingdom" and his big smile form a grin.

"The time that I'm waiting for Lavelle, the summer season is now near, and to prevent it, you are the one who can prevent it." I was confusedly looking at him. He touches my head and suddenly, he murmurs something that I can't understand.

"When the summer season comes the blood and death cannot be stopped. Lavelle, my granddaughter the destiny is now in your hands, save the world and be the savior of this kingdom" he covers my eyes and I'm feeling dizzy and everything went black.

As I open my eyes, I was in the garden sitting in front of the tree. What is that? Is that a dream?

"Princess! Where are you?!"

"I'm here Reime" as she looks at me, her eyes turn big.

"Your eyes princess, your eyes!" what happens to my eyes? Is there something wrong? Reime immediately pulled a small mirror into her pockets. She gave it to me and as I look into my eyes, it became red what is happening? I look at the mirror in shock but my head suddenly hurts.

"When the summer season comes the blood and death cannot be stopped. Lavelle, my granddaughter the destiny is now in your hands, save the world and be the savior of this kingdom"

"Uhm, Reime m-my head hurts" and I collapse.
