CHAPTER ONE:

" Makenzie wake up" my mom said as she shook me gently. No I said as I turned in the other direction. "now" she said. I sighed in defeat I knew I would never win against my mom she gets everything she wants.

I lazily got out of bed and walked to my dresser and pulled out some jeans and a random shirt. I swiftly put on my clothes and when into the bathroom as I tamed my messy blonde hair I looked in the mirror. I winged on some eyeliner and mascara

I stared at myself in the mirror making sure I looked presentable when I heard my mom saying breakfast was ready.

I said goodbye to my family an went to my bus stop. With my bookbag in hand I walked down the street and as always my friend Bradley was standing ther waiting for me.

Bradley is my best friend but I've been in love with him since 8th grade...

He is tall and muscular, with dirty blonde hair and the most beautiful blue eyes.

We started talking about our big science project due Friday when the bus came around the corner. The tires sceeched as it stopped in front of is.

Bradley and I took our original sears in the very back of the bus. I sat near the window and Bradley was sitting unusually close to me today.

But I'm not that outgoing. he is captain of the football team and Im the president of the chemestry team whoch hase fiv people in it.

I wouldn't have a chance and everyone loves him.

we small talked as our bus driver stopped the bus to let the last set of kids on.

In no time we were at the school walking into the front door.

" hey Bradley" Lauren said as she put grabbed his arm.
