2500BV (Before the Victory)
Guided by the God Duaderyn, the First Elves atop the back of the Goddess Gwynblaidd crossed the nigh-impenetrable wall of black jagged rock and thunderstorms surrounding the Great Isle. This wall was simply named "The Jagged Ring".

With all their might, the Black Bird and the White Wolf crossed through an opening that would seemingly never reveal itself ever again. Bizarrely, the sea and air still flow unrestrained, even though the wall cannot be breached. To this day, nothing has gotten in or out.

Already inhabiting the Great Isle were the ancient Dwarves and Humans. At the time, both races were primitive, living simply but poorly in small tribes. While humans inhabited the far larger island of the Great Isle, the Dwarves inhabited the smaller island. Even from the two points of both islands that were closest to each other, they were still too far apart for a Dwarf or Human to see each other.

When the First Elves came, they established the starting point of their society. Gwynblaidd's divine milk altered their normal souls, allowing them to grow tall and strong, to live healthily for many centuries, free from deadly diseases such as cancer and dementia.
The First Elves were the purest of them all.

The milk itself also granted them the ability to utilise her power: Magic.

With magic, and a benevolent mother figure giving them love and affection, the First Elves learned how to farm, how to make fire, how to hunt and how to build homes. As they developed, so too did their language and writing.

Their first home on this new land was called Gwyn'cahaelen — Elven for White Heart — built on the very ground that Gwynblaidd's wet paws first touched. At first, it was a large Elven town by the far northeastern coast, but as centuries passed, it grew into the greatest and biggest golden city in the Great Isle.

Of course, the journey to find a home for her children had taken a great toll on Gwynblaidd's body. She asked the First Elves to carve a bed for her in Gwyn'cahaelen, deep below the earth, and place her there so that she could rest. To shield their Mother Goddess from harm, the First Elves made sure none could harm her.
Meanwhile, Duaderyn had kept watch over his sons and daughters while his wife was fast asleep.

As time went on, the Elves came to learn that silver was their sole weakness, and so, they avoided it at all costs, which brought about their focus on gold. In their clothes, their jewellery and their temples, gold was always the first colour to be seen.

At first, the First Elves did not know about the existence of Dwarves since they landed on the larger island where Humans were. When they found the Humans, they helped them to properly develop by introducing them to their superior religion, of the worship of two living partner gods rather than the lifeless Jagged Ring and the soulless Storm. Instead of worshipping them and fearing their power, the Humans would lovingly worship Gwynblaidd and Duaderyn, thankful for their contribution to the land.

The First Elves were kind and loving, spreading their bitheistic religion peacefully.

Together, they developed the boat, the means to cross over to the Domain of the Dwarves, which the Dwarves called Ironland — they were the first species to discover iron, while the Humans discovered it later. And then, they too helped develop the Dwarven race.

However, The Dwarves, stubborn and prideful, were not so easily converted.
But the Elves, peaceful and tolerant, did not mind, and accepted them nonetheless.

The Dwarves continued to fearfully worship the Jagged Ring and the Storm, but they accepted Gwynblaidd and Duaderyn as deities.

For centuries, all three races prospered, building countless castles, breathtaking bridges and magnificent monuments across the Great Isle that would stoically stand the test of time. Many families forged alliances between their beloved brethren, leading to thousands of children being born of each race. Diversity was the norm. The ability to use Magic was no longer limited to Elves, but gifted to Humans and Dwarves so that it might aid them in their endeavours. Indeed, dominion over the elements would prove most useful in the near future.
