Aquarius' Point of View

I stared at Master's message from this afternoon.

The twelve of us were gathered around the sofa, trying to soak up the message and understand it. With Master, you never know. But you can never ask her for any clarifications. No, no, you must understand every single word.

To the Western Zodiac,

I have been told that the twelve of you have retrieved all the items of the Sign of the Water Element. I am proud of your accomplishment, but if it hasn't occurred to your group, now is no time to rest, especially when you're like a bird just about to leave the nest.

Soaring through the sky is no easy feat on Earth, there is gravity. I am getting off topic, yes, I know. But there are so many things to learn about the planet that you are on. Anyways, there are still nine remaining items to find and return.

I understand that you are highly pressured by time, and some of you do not perform well under pressure, but I feel it is my duty to inform you that you only have half a year remaining. May luck bless you with its wonderful gift.

Best regards,

The Grand Master of the Zodiac

None of us could speak. Well, I couldn't speak, that is. I was too busy observing the message that Master had sent us. Apparently, she goes by Grand Master now. I wonder what kind of promotion was offered to her, since she is our only guardian aside from our parents. Anyway, the other eleven, however, spoke at the first chance they got.

"That is, uh... crazy," Pisces tried out slang, "only half a year left? It took us almost a month to gather three!" she exclaimed.

"C'est trop la honte! (How embarrassing)" Leo paused for dramatic effect.

"You do know that half a year here is six months, right?" Scorpio asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Wow, that's actually a generous amount of time," Gemini grinned. "We can do this!"

"Yes, but six months to find which element's item?" Cancer asked. Pisces nudged him, "There are a lot of places in the Earth, however. Consider that," she added worriedly.

The message was on a paper airplane, and when I straightened it, there were words encrypted with moon dust. That isn't hard to find when you lived in the sky your whole life. I knew there was a clue in the letter, so I spoke.

Oh wait, they'll be mad if I just said that it was the Air Sign's items, we need to find. They'll think I was just bragging and wanting to find my item first. I must speak in a full sentence with explanation...

"Master left a clue in her note," I pointed out, since nobody else seemed to notice. "It's sent on a paper airplane, and we've seen a lot of paper airplanes in Paris being thrown by uh... children. It catches the wind, doesn't it? And soaring through the sky means it's the Air Sign's turn."

Everyone's jaw dropped.

"A milestone!" Gemini exclaimed.

"You just spoke an essay, Aqua," Sagittarius joked. "Air Signs, you say?"

"Maybe a museum that showcases things that fly, then." Virgo suggested. "Aviation Museums, to be exact."

Aries walked out of the room, needing to 'stretch a bit' and I quote. Sagittarius ran after him, probably to make a laughingstock out of the boy. I gazed at the window, not hearing what was being said.

At the end of the day, we'll be going to Spain anyways.

How did I know? I'm not sure. I think it's because I've seen a few airplanes enter and exit the country, but then again that's what happens in every country... Maybe because I just want to visit Spain.

"Excuse me. May I go?" I asked, interrupting something that Capricorn was saying. He nodded and I stood up, walking outside as well.

The moment I left the house, a gust of wind blew against my face. It was cool and crisp, and I could feel the afternoon sun immediately lighting everything up.

Happy to see me? I thought as I smiled to myself. Sun had always been my best friend. Even though he was a star, and I was a quiet sight, he still managed to spend time with me. He says I just needed someone to talk to and I would open.

Aries and Sagittarius weren't around, but I could hear angry shouts and chuckling, in that order.

I realized that Capricorn was following me. I was the only one who knew about his secret, but if he didn't want to let anyone else know, I don't see the problem.

Although I think it did cause a stir between his friendship with Libra, since he did reject her.

"We're going to get caught if we go to Spain today," he said. "You know that, right?"

I nodded. A moment passed and I raised my eyebrow, smirking at him. 'Where else were we supposed to go, though?' my expression read.

He sighed and turned his gaze to me. "You're right. Don't let your love of Spain consume you, though. We won't be long there."

I gave him a slight smile and pat him on the shoulder, hearing him laugh in defeat.

I put both of my hands in the air and made two 'V' signs with my fingers. I was excited despite my monotone voice in a singsong, "Victory."
