the fight sounds were going on which made kate wanna know what is going on, she moved her red car aside "needed their signatures I am telling you it is not a big problem, we have to wait a little the market's gonna turn around and everything will be fine" Dhruv said as kate got up and was hearing her mother and father.
"okay we have to sell the penthouse," Eleanor said "no, we won't" Dhruv replied "that's, that's---" "what? an actual solution?" kate's mother said
"maybe growing up in this place you got used to the idea that a solution will just fall out of the sky. but it won't. You've got a daughter to think of." her mother shouted
"I've got it under control. Eleanor." Dhruv said and kate dropped the red car, and she jumped down and went to her bed and act she does not know about anything..
"kate?" her father called as he entered the room "coming in." her father replied as he entered the room "you shouldn't eavesdrop," he said as he tucked his head into his jacked pockets
"to mujhe kaise pata chalega ki tum kya kah rahe ho jab main vahaan nahin hoon (then how would i know what you're saying when I'm not there)" kate replied "mujhe nahin pata ki isake saath kaise bahas karoon. (i don't know how to argue with that.)" dhruv replied with a smile, later on he asked "aapane kitana suna? (how much did you hear?)"
"i don't wanna move" kate said as she got up "That much, huh?" dhruv said getting close to her "we don't have to" he replied " How do you know?" kate asked
"ma said things don't just fall from the sky." kate replied "well, yeah, but there's always gonna be the weather. some people forget the one thing they can control the choices they make in the face of it." hearing this made kate smirk
"what would you do in a hurricane?" kate asked, "i would do what i always do." he came more near her and touched her shoulders and said
"protect you" and kate smiled at her father "now, why don't you go have some lunch with your mother?" her father said getting up "think fast" her father said throwing her ball kate caught it
"i'll be downstairs in my office." her father replied and went kate was playing with a ball thinking.
at the lunch table, kate was eating her food "mommies can be pretty fun, too, you know" her mother said
"i bet you didn't know i could do this." she used the spoon and she ate the food.. kate laughed at her mother "made you smile" she said
"come on. why don't you grab the checkers? we can liven things up." her mother said
"all right" Kate said as she went she heard her mother saying "okay, i'm going downstairs be right back"
she went inside the room, she noticed her room was shaking, she felt someone fly she got scared and shouted "Ma!" she ran down her stairs and started calling her mom and pa looking around she watch the wall fall down, she looked ahead to see her clint fighting when one monster was going to attack her clint used his arrow and saved her.
her mother picked her up and went down, when kate asked her about her dad, she found out he is dead. as the funeral kate realized one more thing, she needs to protect her mom, and she needs a bow and a arrow
