chapter seven: moneyy
"hi daredevil" titaina said as a daredevil said a hi to her "i go there before this guy flirts with someone else," kate said as she came near to him and said "Matthew," kate said slowly "kate" matt said as both of them walked ahead "did anyone asked how we both met?" matt asked "yeah" kate said "did you told our made up story?" matt asked "yeah" kate said.
"why i should not have my own currency," ched asked "go ahead you can have" matt said holding ched sholders "kate, they have a question for you," laura said and kate slowly nodded then her aunt rebbeca started saying "kate, dear do you and that hawkeye guy" "clint" kate said taking a sip of her drink as jen give a dead stare to her aunt rebbeca"do you both collect arrows?" aunt said "most of the arrows get broken.. or destroyed because they are sometimes trick arrows" kate said with a smile, "now matt, jen and laura tells me that you have your own practice," ched said "yeah, in hell kitchen" matt said nodding "hear that Rebbeca, he has his own practice" jen's mom said "hell kitchen does not sound very glamours idea" rebbeca said as kate widen her eyes, "it's not glamours but i grew up there," matt said "look at aunt her eyes are not getting of matt" tyler whispired to laura "what we can ever expect" laura said as they both ate food on same time.
"aunt rebbeca we don't ask people how much money they make," jen said "its fine, i do not do it for money" matt said as he was getting nervous kate looked at him with a happy face then looked back to her food , "but you do earn money right?" ched asked "dad!" jen shouted "it is expensive raising kids in la"ched said "he is staying for a week" jen said between her laughs "i did not expect this conversation to go this way."matt said as kate phone buzzed, her happy face turned into a serious one.
"kate, is anything wrong?" laura asked kate looked at her and hmmed "you hmm when something is wrong," laura said "nothing just...i need to check this sorry" kate said as she got up and went matt was looking worried along with laura.
"yes jack?" kate said answering the call "sweetie, i visited your mom and wanted to meet you" jack said "i know, she has been saying it for a long time," kate said "are you planning to go?" jack ask "i am not ready to meet her right away. you know..jack.." kate said slowly as she felt her heart racing "its okay sweetie," jack said and kate smiled "bye sweetie," jack said as kate cut the call.
"is anything wrong kate?" matt asked as he came towards her holding a stick "jack called saying he visited mom and she wants to meet me as i have not yet seen her since she got arrested." kate said "i thought you were planning to meet her?" matt asked "i did.. but then i got caught up in one case. you know Damage Control is asking me many questions" kate said "want me to help you out?" matt asked "maybe."
