The fearless confessions

Yunlan was praising Shen Wei and Zhu Hong was just listening "I can shake the world for my love" Yunlan was drowned in his thoughts "ENOUGH!! I can't bear it any longer! Take your lover's name, just once, Yunlan" Zhu Hong asks with hope in her eyes and she closes her eyes with a little smile "Just once, Yunlan" She whispered while breathing heavy and closed eyes

"Shen Wei!...... He is very beautiful. I got Shen Wei; I got everything.... I'll marry him"

Zhao Yunlan walks closer to her and stops just a few inches away and in his excited self he didn't notice her shocked state, Zhu Hong feels that someone snatches away her heart from her chest "Ohhh.. Okay, I'll leave Hong!" He pats her cheeks and runs outside, she extends her hand to stop but didn't dare to do anything and just sees him going away

She cried to her heart's content and sleeps. On the other side, Shen Wei throws a glass on the floor making it break into many pieces "Wei? What is wrong?" His dad runs being scared for him and Wei hugs him dearly "Papa, I want to tell you something" He looked up at his dad's face still wrapping his waist

"What is it, my child?--- What is bothering my little Prince huh?"

Mr. Shen removes hair from his forehead and asks very gently "Papa, I--- I--- Papa, I love someone!" He finally said it and his dad just went stunned and open his eyes wide in shock "What!! What are you saying, dear?" He asks again and Wei nods looking into his dad's eyes "You hid such an important thing from me? You know very well that I have promised my friend that I will marry you to his son, Sang!"

Shen Wei steps back releasing himself from his father's hold "I too am bound by a promise. A bond that will never break" Shen Wei's eyes were wet but he was not crying anymore and boldly looking into his father's eyes as well as standing confidently, he was fighting for Yunlan now! "I can't understand a thing. Who is he?" Mr. Shen almost shout and walks back a little giving his back to his son

Shen Wei's eyes were following his father "You know him, papa. His name is Zhao Yunlan" Wei replied and his dad was frustrated now "Who is Zhao Yunlan?" He was cold and Wei didn't hesitate to answer more "You have seen him too, papa!"

Shen Wei slowly walks closer to him "The same Yunlan who, someday, had hovered over our heads like death (His dad was frowning and gets shocked knowing who is that man) Today, I have held his hand and promised---- to tread on the path of life!" Shen Wei has a little sweet smile on his lips while talking about Yunlan but his dad turn towards him like a thunder

"ARE YOU IN YOUR SENSES?---- DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU'RE SAYING?" He shout loud and Wei silently keep looking at his face "You--- You love him?!--- You have gone crazy!" His dad added being angry "Papa, at least listen to me!" Wei said but his dad was mad 

"What do you want to say?--- About his place in society? He is a disgrace! A wild beast who dishonours others-- A snake filled with venom! A criminal!"

Shen Wei was just looking down, eyes again filled with tears "He is no more a criminal. He has quit his evil ways! He has done all this for me--- For my love, I have given him a new life, papa!" Shen Wei said very confidently and calmly hoping his father will understand his love "Just shut up, Shen Wei!

"Yunlan has turned into gold, after burning into the flames of repentance--- The world's atrocities and hatred had dropped him in the darkness. My love has brought him back to light"

"NO!!!---- This is impossible! I won't let you leap into that fire!---- You will not meet him after today" His dad denied and Shen Wei shook his head "BUT I LOVE HIM, PAPA!-- I LOVE HIM A LOT!! I CAN DO ANYTHING FOR HIM" Shen Wei shouts loud trying to tell the world how much he love his Ah Lan "Anything?" Mr. Shen turns towards him curiously

"Whom I should marry and what to do--- The right to make these decisions, is solely mine! I can't live without Yunlan"

"You wish to embrace death! Leave him!!" Mr. Shen cried this time, he was like begging and Wei was determent "I can leave everything, this home--- this world-- this life, but not Yunlan!" Shen Wei was not scared, he has no fear in his eyes while saying all this and Mr. Shen trembled seeing his madness, his love for a criminal---

"Yes! You--- You can do this--- (He stepped back) Because you have become big now, you don't need me at all now-- GO!!!" Mr. Shen suddenly hit a vase and it broke into pieces while crying heavily, Shen Wei got startled and worried suddenly "I have freed you from all relationships! After this unfortunate separation---- I will give you every right to make Yunlan happy--- the one who brought me disgrace---- And the right with your friend- your father wil... wi... ahhhh!!"

"PAPA!!!!!"

Shen Wei runs towards his unconscious father with terror in his eyes and holds him in his lap "Papa, talk to me!---- Papa please open your eyes" Shen Wei cried and keep caressing his face "Papa? Papa!! Papa, don't leave your baby like this---- Papa, I am your little baby, right? Please papa, I am sorry---- Open your eyes!"
