I hate that people believe

Love is all sparkles

And rainbows

And sunshine

It isn't

Love is not

Happily ever after

Love is work

It is trust

And honesty

And caring

I hate how people

Always say "I love you"

But 3 weeks later

They walk away

Love is not

Just a word

Love is work

And commitment...

It is not easy

To love someone

To give your secrets

Not knowing

If they will do the same

Love is work

Don't give your love so easily

Because 8 out of 10 people

Will break your heart

And all I will have to say is...

I told you,

Love is work...
