Same Day
We pulled up to the dinner and it looked the same. I was truly nervous one about seeing Mr. Freeman and two what if I run into some people from my old school, I promise you I'd pass out.
Roddy helped me out the car and before I could walk away, he pulled me into a tight hug.
"Stop being nervous I got tink alright" he whispered in my ear while soothingly rubbing my back.
"Alright" I mumbled before he bent down and kissing my lips a couple times.
We walked into the dinner, and it was like an old school type dinner. The waitress and waiter were wearing roller skates, the colors were the classic red and yellow.
This was one of the reasons why I loved coming here as a child it reminded me of my favorite old school teen movies I would watch.
I grabbed Roddy's hand and pulled him over to the bar and a waitress came over to us.
"Oh my god Ty how are you" the girl said her face brightening up.
It took me a minute to recognize who it was but it was one of the few girls that would stick up for me when I would get bullied. The only reason we never became friends was because she was always busy and never 'had time' but she would talk to me a lot and with her knowing sign language it was easy to communicate.
'Halle it's so nice to see you' I signed while pulling her into a hug.
Halle is pretty as hell with a really nice toned body and that was probably because of all the sports she plays. I think its basketball, volleyball, and baseball.
"It's good to see you too" she said smiling big then she looked over to Roddy.
'This is my boyfriend' I said grabbing Roddy's hand making him smile at me then look at her.
"Nice to meet you" Roddy said nodding his head at her and she smiled.
'Halle can you get Mr. Freeman' I signed and she nodded rolling away.
"Who was that" Roddy asked rubbing my leg.
"Old friend who would always stick up for me when I would get picked on" I said rubbing his knuckles.
"Thats wassup you should get her number after this you need girlfriends" Roddy said making me smile and nod.
"Well if it isnt my baby girl lightbright" I heard Mr. Freemans deep voice ring though the dinner.
I smiled and turned face to face with a man who was the closest thing to a father I ever had.
