Prologue/Beginnings

Nezha wasn't one for trouble, not anymore at least. When he was a young boy he lived chaos! He was one of the most mischievous deities, until the dragon situation...

When the young Nezha, only 7 years of age was playing on the sand he found himself become warm, so, not understanding how powerful he truly was, decided to use his large divine ring to get some cool water, however, this causes an entire small hurricane with the water disturbing the Dragon King of the East.

When the Dragon King could feel the ground below his castle shaking he sent his generels to find whoever is causing the disturbance. When the generels see that it is but a small child causing it they expect an easy battle, however when they actually began to fight the young Nezha he used his wheel and instantly slaughtered the generals.

When the dragon King heard of this he sent his favourite son to deal with the child, however he suffered a similar fate to the generals. At this point, the Dragon King was tired or Nezhas shenanigans and went to file a formal complaint with the Jade Emperor, the almighty ruler of heaven and the Gods. However, when the enraged Dragon King arrived to yhr heavenly gates, Nezha was already there waiting for him there. The two fought in an epic battle which Nezha won. The Dragon King agreed not to report Nezhas  crimes to the almighty Jade Emperor.

The Dragon King, however, was not ready to let go of Nezhas crimes. The Dragon King ordered a sunami to devour Nezhas home town, however Nezha intercepted and took responsibility, telling the Dragon Kings mages that Nezha himself was alone responsible for the slaughters and the situations and wouldn't allow any innocents to be harmed, before stabbing himself.

Nezha, however, was a disciple of a Toaist immortal. Who, once he heard of Nezhas death didn't panic. Instead, he created a human body out of lotus roots and ordered Nezha to rise. Nezha was reborn, stronger than ever, and was taken in by the heavenly Court...

Since that day, Nezha had sworn himself to protect humanity. He took on the responsibility of becoming the Huǒ-Bǎohù, also known as the Fire Portector. With his two brothers taking on Water (Muzha) and Wind (Jinzha).

Nezha had completely pushed aside his mortal life, he had no mortal friends and his father, Li Jing, was in heaven with him. So, as he stood on the side of the cloudy floors of this section of heaven looking down upon the world below, why did he miss it? He found himself longing so be down there with the disgusting race of flesh monsters, he wished to see another human being who was imperfect and flawed.

So, he did what anyone in his situation would do, and went to Guanyin.
