EPISODE 1: Meeting the Mighty Libero
Rain's P.O.V
"I'm sorry, Rain. But your application is 4-days late. We can no longer accept this." The volleyball manager said.
"But I'm a varsity!! The girls' volleyball team needs me!" I argued.
"That's not an acceptable reason, Hiroko-san. Did you know that you need to pass an application before summer break starts for you to be able to join summer club activities, as an requirement for this year's sports club?" The manager explained.
"I know, but--"
"Sorry, Hiroko-san... but we can't consider your application anymore," She handed back to me the white paper onto my hands. Then she left me, entered the faculty room, and I slowly fell onto my knees.
"What..." I crumpled the paper inside my fist.
My name is Hiroko Rain. I'm volleyball player at Karasuno's girls vball team, for almost all my life. Since grade school, up to now, now that I'm a second year student. And for the first time in my life, I forgot to pass my club application form on time, and now I shall suffer the consequences.
"What... what the hell?!"

I walked around the people-less campus, feeling so doomed. What am I going to do now? Now that the girls' volleyball manager can't accept my request, playing volleyball, in tournaments and practice matches on summer break are out of the question.
"I can't imagine my summer break without volleyball," I groaned as I slide my back against the wall, and I felt the cold wind enter the window beside me.
"Yeah, me too." A voice said. Reacting late, I screamed in surprise, and made me crawl backwards.
"Woah! Easy," A guy said as he climbed inside the window.
"Well, you freaking scared the hell out of me!" I yelled as I tried to calm myself down.
"Sorry," Apologizing, as he scratched the back of his head, giving me a faint smile.
"What are you smiling at, you almost gave me a heart attack," I rudely looked away, bending my knees and hugging it.
"I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." He said as he sat beside me. I've seen him before... I wonder where.
"I know. It's fine." I gave off slight smile, which made him return a wide one.
"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself," He paused. "I'm Nishinoya Yuu!" He cheerfully stated as he held out his hand with a smile curved on his lips. Nishinoya Yuu.... Hm.
"Oh hi, I'm Hiroko Rain. N-nice to meet you." I responded, taking his hand, and we shaked onto it.
"Nice to meet you too, Hiroko-san!" He grinned. He's small... But a bit taller than me. His hair is unusually combed up too. Not to mention the color in front. Is that even allowed?
"Oh, right. What were you saying about volleyball not being part of your summer break? You're a varsity, right? I think I saw you once," He said, looked like he's recalling something.
"Oh yes, I am. I'm a regular." I stated.
"What's your position?" He asked.
"Uh, um, I'm usually a Middle Blocker...and I spike a lot." I answered, giving a slight smile.
"Oh... I see,"
"How about you, Nishinoya-san--"
"Drop the '-san'. You're a second year too, right?" He suggested.
