EPISODE 4: Mission Failed

Rain's P.O.V

It was a very bright morning, as the birds sang melodious rhythms. The early breeze of wind blew gently, whispering to me the sweetest greetings. Today was perfect; perfect for my mission to take place!

"Money... Check. Bag... Check. Shades... Check. Mask..." I was doing a rerun of walking through my things I will bring to the mall. I shall miss nothing! The preparation must be flawless, so that all things will go well. Today's the day when I'll be transformed into a complete, different person, after staying up all night planning my transformation. I browsed a lot of sites, wrote down some advices and stuffs which I assumed was necessary.

Yesterday evening was also when my parents departed for their work. Their work was a real state agent partners, selling houses to their clients and other matters I do not wish to have knowledge of. Anyways, they said to me that they'll be gone for two months because of their training, and some of their clients were very much farther than their usual spot.

And as I suspected, they didn't bothered asking if I was okay with that. It's not that I want to go with them, but it's pretty obvious that they don't care about me. Maybe.

They left me a large amount of money; large enough to sustain my everyday needs for the whole two months. I have no say in their decision, so I just nodded my head in their statements and blabber. It was easier to deal with them that way.

On the contrary, them leaving gave me a huge advantage to do things I've always wanted to do. And one of those were competing in the summer break. That was my plan all along, however, there was a fatal mistake I've committed. I forgot to pass my application form.

The manager won't accept my application in the girl's volleyball club, so I'll join the boy's volleyball club! Pretty easy, right?

"Yosha! Let's do this!" I said to myself as I locked our house's gate and headed to the mall.

* * * *

Step One: Think like a boy and act like one! Start by buying boy's clothings, and stuffs that will make you "boy-ish". Avoid wearing fit shirts, and skinny jeans. Wear simple clothes, such as plain t-shirts and jeans.

My black eyes scanned the whole shop, as I really tried so hard to think like a boy. For an instance, 'what would a boy would wear?' or 'what clothing looks manly?', stuffs like that. The advice said that I should wear something bigger than my actual size, to make it look "baggy", or loose.

After shoving several of the men's wear in my basket (which I believe was appropriate enough), I glanced back at my phone. It flashed the steps I ought to follow, and thankfully, I remembered something as I looked back at the screen. The binder. I need it to cover my flat chest.

I moved my feet to search around for it, and finally saw couples of the binder just a mile away from me. I took three of it, just in case. I have my own reasons.

Heading towards the cashier, I already felt the stares of the people around me and my basket. Not only because of the tons of boy's clothings, but also the three different types of binder along with it. They might be thinking that I'm a lesbian, but I don't actually care.
