Writing is hard. It's hard.
It's hard to come up with ideas and figure things out. Sometimes I am not even in the mood to write anything. It's defintally something that I need to work on. I need to work on writing. There are so many great writers like neleha_loves_horses & Countrygirl1055 and one of my favorites AZariadus & HorsielovaXOX There are so many others that I could list.
The most difficult thing I feel like is finding inspratation to write. Maybe out of personal experiences and even funny stories but just typical teenager stuff. I find it easier to have characters like people you know or even base a character off of you.
In a story you need conflicts. Interesting Characters good or bad. Details and scenery.
Maybe have people move.
Maybe have a new character.
Maybe have some loved one pass away.

Whatever you choose, keep the book interesting.
If readers ask you to update then update. It's as simple as that. The longer you wait, the less readers you will get for each chapter.
