It's been 6 years in the apocalypse, I lost dad, James, and mom, I've been alone for a while now, I feel better off on my own anyways, I'm faster and can get things done quicker, but I still miss everyone, I found a black mask in one of the shops I cleared out, it's been a few days, I haven't found any food or water
I was walking alone as I walked up to a gate, I hesitated to call for people
"Screw this.." I said as I walked away
"Hey girl!" A boy shouted from the watch tower
I turned around and I saw a really cute boy, he had brown long hair, pretty eyes, pink lips, and a pretty face
"Hey" I said as a small smile appeared on my face
"Here I'll open the gate for you" the boy said as he jumped off the watch tower and opened the gate
"Carl, Carl grimes" he said as he placed his hand out
"Jules, Jules Rodriguez" I said as I shook his hand
"Umm, let me talk to my dad and see if you can stay here, come on" Carl said as he walked away
I followed him, not being able to take my eyes off the houses and crops these people have
"Dad!" Carl said as a man walked down with a baby in his arms and a woman with a sword
"Who's this?" The man asked
"Dad, this is jules she just came up to the gate" Carl said
"Well jules, my name is Rick, I'll have to ask you a few questions before I let you stay here" Rick said as he handed the baby to Carl and took me inside the house
The woman followed behind me
"Ok have a seat, this is Michone" Rick said
"Michone, she's your girlfriend? Or wife?" I asked
"Something like that" Rick chuckled
Michone slapped his arm and laughed
"Girlfriend" she giggled
"Your very pretty by the way" I smiled
"Thank you dear" she said with a smile
"Ok, how many walkers have you killed" Rick asked
"Haven't kept track but all I know is alot" I said
"How many people have you killed?" Rick asked
"Two..." I said as I looked down
"And why is that?" Rick asked
"One was my brother, he got bit...And- He um...I had to kill him, and my dad...He, he also got bit.." I said as my eyes teared up
"I'm so sorry.." Rick said
"No it's ok" I said as I looked up and wiped my tears
"Well, I'll have Carl show you around so you can see the place and meet some people" Rick said as he patted my shoulder and walked away with Michone
I sat there waiting for carl to come inside
Carl walked inside with the baby and sat next to me
"Wanna see our room?" He asked
"Our?" I asked
"Yea...I'm sorry but there aren't any other rooms in the houses left were full" carl said
"No it's ok I don't min-" the baby cut me off with a really cute coo
"Aww she's cute what's her name" I asked
"Judith" Carl said as he smiled and held her towards me
I grabbed her out of Carl's arms and held her
"Aww" I said as she placed her hands on my face
"Yea she likes hair too so watch out" he laughed
I looked at Carl and smiled but he couldn't see because of the mask I was wearing

"Go on" I said
"What's with the mask?.." he asked
"I- umm...Well I just don't like my face that's all..." I said
"Let me see!" Carl said
"No...I can't" I said as I handed him Judith and stood up
"Oh ok.." he said
"Umm can I shower?" I asked
"Yea for sure go ahead!" He said
"Thanks" I said as he walked out of the house
I walked upstairs and got into the shower
After I got out I wasn't thinking anyone would be in the house and I left my mask in the room so I came out without my mask
I didn't know Carl was in the room, I walked in and froze, Carl scanned my body then looked up to my face, he smiled and stared
