(Y/n's pov)

After that lunch things have been different.
Almost strained in a way, but also not strianed.
It seemed i was the only one that noticed Ben was hanging out with the vks and me alot more than the others.
As time went on, growing closer to Ben's coronation, said Prince behavior seemed to change.
Today was the big game and me and the girls are getting ready.
I was at my looker and held a small baggy of peanut butter cookies.
My locker door closed and i jumped, so did d/n.
I said back to the loclers seeing it was Ben who scared us.
"Oh my God Ben.
(I toke a breath and laughed and it lighten Ben up.)
You scared us".
He then said.
"Sorry.
You coming to the game"?
I then said.
"Of course you know i never miss this for the world".
He smiled and he said.
"Um before i go can i ask you something"?
I then said.
"sure Ben shoot".
He seemed to have lost his ability to speak and he seemed to change the subject before he even broached it.
He said looking at the bag of cookies.
"Are those peanut butter"?
I nodded and said.
"Yeah, you want one"?
He then said as i hand him one.
"Thanks, you bake"?
I then said .
"Couldn't sleep so I figure i try backing".

He then said taking a bite.
"You sure this is your first time cause these are amazing".
I then said.
"Yeah I'm glad you like it.
Here.
(I gave him the bag and another and said.)
There's enough for you and the team.
To celebrate when you win the game".
He smiled and said.
"Thank you".
Jay then said coming up to Ben.
"Ben come one we got to get ready".
Jay toke Ben with him and i waved them both good bye and d/n looked at me and i said.
"What"?
She said after sighing.
'I swear you humans are obvious'.
I then said looking at her.
"What's that supposed to mean"?
She then said.
'Didnt you see he was trying to ask you out'.
I then said.
"No it can't be, it's just nerves that's all".
She hurmpf and i said.
"So what if he was, who would love me"?
She looked at me and nurse her head in the direction Ben left with Jay.
I then said seeing everyone getting ready to go to the field.
"We got to go".

She followed me and we arrived.
Mal, evie and lonie sat at the top of the bleachers.
There was no room for d/n and i looked at them.
I sat down and they decided to move.
Mal and evie said siting down.
"What toke you so long".
Lonnie then said siting on my other side.
"Yeah, normally your the one that's at a place before us"?
I then said.
"Just had to make sure i had everything.
Plus ben surprised us earlier".
Evie then said.
"Really y/n do tell".
I then said.
"I think it's just nerves, but d/n says that ben was trying to ask me out".
D/n lifted her head looking at me and mal said.
"And you don't believe her"?
I then said.
"I never said that, I believe her, i just don't understand why he would choose me.
An outcast".
The game started and evie said.
"Look the games starting".

We watched, and at half way, the enemy team was a point a head.
It the auradon Knights score now they'll gain two points.
Jay insisted Carlos be in and his choice layed off cause the Knights won.
I jumped up as the ball touched the enemy team goal neat.
"Yes"!
The whole auradon student body cheered.
The knight players lifted jay and Carlos cheering them.
D/n roared her cheers and sat on her hind legs.
Clapping her paws.
The man with the mick said.
"And look fokes they are coming over and-".
Ben toke the mick and said.
"I got something i want to say".
Every one quieted and ben said taking shape of a letter.
"Give me a y".
Everyone did the cheer leader shaps of the y and they said.

Ben then said.
"Give me and n".
The students the said.

Ben then said.
"What does that spell"?
The students in the stands leaned forwards, my friends on either side of me put their hands in my shoulders, shacking me.
D/news doing the downward dragon giving her famous gummy smile and she looked at me.
I was both in shock and blushing in realization.
"Y/n"!
Ben then said smiling at me.
"I love you y/n did I mention that"?
Ben then pointed to Doug, who hold the toba infront of the musicians club that you see at every big school game.
"Hit it".
Doug then said.
" uno, dos, tres, quatro".
Then music began and ben sing and looked at me.
