Okay so you guys want to know about what happened with Leo returning to camp? Wish granted! Here it is!-<=>- PIPER -<=>-
Piper sat on the porch of her cabin, staring at the sky. She could hear her fellow Aphrodite siblings behind her talking about make-up and hair styling in their Barbie doll cabin. She hated the looks of it when she first got to Camp Halfblood, but after the war, since she was made counselor, she was able to give it a little more dignity by making the pink darker and adding a bit of blue.
Wow, the war. That was the reason Piper was sitting and staring at the clouds. They had defeated Gaea, Mother Earth, and Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter were not fighting, but still thinking about it brought tears to her eyes.
Leo Valdez was gone. He was her best friend, and like a brother to Piper. They had been through so much throughout the war, and he was gone.
A tear trailed down Piper's cheek, and she wiped it off. No, he wasn't dead. He just disappeared in a ball of exploding fire high in the sky on his mechanical dragon Festus. Not dead.
"You okay?"
Piper should have felt better when she heard that voice. But she couldn't.
Her boyfriend, Jason, son of Jupiter, floated through the air above her. He had his orange Camp Half Blood shirt on and blue faded jeans. His blond hair was cut short, and his blue eyes sparkled. Jason was dressed casually, but he looked so good to Piper. However, he frowned at her, and she realized he asked her a question, and she stood up.
"Um, yeah. I-Im... okay." She tried for a smile, but her eyes must have told him no she's not okay.
He raised an eyebrow. Then, his face softened to sadness. "It's Leo, isn't it?"
With difficulty, Piper nodded, and was relieved when Jason held out his arms. She walked into them, and Jason held her. She started to cry, and he didn't say anything.
"It's okay. He's still alive." He said after a minute.
"How can you be so sure?" Piper didn't want Leo to be gone, but it has been a week since he disappeared. Chances were slim.
Jason released her and held her at arms lengths. "Yeah, but Leo is immune to fire."
"But it was high in the air. He couldn't have survived the fall."
"He had Festus."
"I doubt Festus survived the blast."
"He's immune to fire, too."
Piper sighed. This was a conversation she had been having with herself for a while now. "Okay, so he survived. Where is he?"
It was Jason's turn to sigh. "I don't know." Then, his eyes lit up. "Remember when Percy was on that island? Maybe he washed up there! What was it's name? O-gee-"
"Ogygia. But remember what Hazel said? He was already there. And you can't go there again."
Jason smiled. "It's Leo, Piper. He can do anything."
Piper smiled slowly. He was right. Leo could do anything. He fought three cyclops by himself, he made excellent tacos and ships, fixed a freaking dragon, and defeated Gaea. Yeah.
"You're right. As usual."
He laughed. "I'm not that perfect."
Piper begged to differ, but she didn't say anything. Then, a conch shell was blown.
"The camp beads." Jason said.
At the end of each summer, Camp Half blood has a ceremony where they give everyone a decorated head for one year of being at the camp. Jason and Piper weren't exactly at camp for the year, a week and two days in fact, but since they kind of took part in saving the world, they get special privileges.
