I usually take a trip to the Underworld at this time of the month. To check up on my dad and make sure he hasn't started any wars. And, before Percy fell in Tartarus, to see Bob. But Bob was back, so I only go there to see my dad.
My dad, Hades, has lately been trying to... I don't know. Connect? Rebuild the family? I mean, he made me a zombie chauffeur. Maybe to get me to the friends that I didn't have. Whatever the case, Hades has started to be less of a creep.
But maybe I'll skip this visit. I have new reasons to stay at Camp Half Blood.
Ever since I helped bring back the Athena Parthenos to camp, people have respected me more. Yeah, I intimidate them a little bit, but I'm okay with it.
Then there are the seven, who have treated me like family. Frank still stays away from me, but I use that for jokes. Jokes that I always come up with in my head, but never do or say. Jason and Percy keep saying that I'm their little brother, and compete saying who's a better bro. Then Percy keeps coming back to me saying that he's not my type. He had Annabeth, but he can't handle someone having a crush on him, then finding out when they are over him.
Then there was my biggest reason. Will Solace. I don't know if we are dating or not. Everyone wants us to, especially Piper, and every time they see us, they squeal Solangelo. I guess it's our ship name.
Will was a really good guy. He's nice funny, cute, and flirty. I wasn't always playful when he flirts with me, but he's so cute when he laughs. I'm not sure if he's always had a crush on me, or it developed over time like mine, but I am pretty sure we are together, and both of us couldn't be happier.
Although it was complicated during his archery lesson with me.
"Careful! You almost took out that camper!"
"Sorry." I straightened out my bow. I had terrible aim.
"Hey." Will appeared next to me. His curly blond hair was blowing faintly in the wind, and his gorgeous blue eyes twinkled. With his muscles and tan body, you'd think he was a major athlete. But he spent most of his time in the infirmary as a doctor.
"At least you would've made it in his head. A perfect headshot." He said, joking around.
"He totally ruined it. Why do they always have to run and scream." I joked back.
He laughed. I didn't joke often, but when I did, he always laughed.
"Okay. Show me your stance."
I aimed, and he studied me.
Then, he went behind me. He slid his right hand on my right tricep, and put his left hand on my left forearm. I could feel my face redden at his touch.
"Aim the bow a little lower, and pull back a little harder."
"But..." I started.
"I know you don't feel strong with a bow." He interrupted, reading my thoughts. "But the bow isn't all about strength. You need to aim first. Keep it a little higher than your target, and pull back." He said while directing my, well, direction.
"Fine." I said.
"Then, fire." He said, his hands still on me.
I let go, and watched the arrow fly straight for the target. It hit it. It wasn't a perfect bullseye, but I got pretty close.
