Silence creeping in the room

Choi han is holding his scabbard tightly to protect his leige if something happens.

Alberu just looking at M/n with mixed feeling either he should trust him or not.

Eruhaben just looking at him amusingly.

Cale as well has a mixed feelings about this situation it not either he should trust him or not he's scared that his companions on top of that the crown prince is with them attack and arrest him.

"So are you one of his organization?"

Alberu ask cautiously

Cale thought as he was scared for M/N's life.

M/n look at Alberu silently for a while much to everyone dismay, as m/n giggled and shook his head to disagree Alberu statement. That makes everyone feels a little bit relief but their still on guard because their in an enemy base.

" He once my friend at first i didn't know who he is and what his work is basically his identity"

He said this while walk to the study table that looks like it has been left for a while, its very dusty and there is spider webs everywhere. He dust some of them off to search for something and the rest observe him as he doing a little bit of movement.

" At first i was curious who he is because he really looks the same as my husband but when i talk to him for a while he is really different from cale but he was really kind to me and everyone in the village"

Cale interrupted him before he continue to talk,

"Im sorry to interrupt but when did you meet him"

M/n look at cale and answer,

"After my husband left, and a month later he appeared."

Cale nod as he was satisfied what his answer is. M/n continues to his story,

"He was my best friend even thou he proposed to me various of times but i rejected it saying that i already had a husband but he never give up but then he was a good friend even if he did that and fun to be around him he was my second friend after my husband.... But then an incident occur"

" When i first met him he was badly injured without anyone by his side and his communication device was broken so he cant contact anyone and stayed with me in the village he stayed for far too long much to his underlings and assistant dismay they thought he was trapped or kidnapped by us in my village so his assistant and his underlings attacked my village"

"It cause me a lot of injuries not only from the outside by them and the insides as well because they were attacking my village, people and the creatures as well thats why it really took a toll on me. Barrow successfully stop them and he apologized to the villagers especially me"

"I felt sad, betrayed and disappointed at him because of what he had done before this and who he actually is so i kicked him out from my village and restricted him to go near me, the villagers and my own village. But time passes i eventually forgave him but only what he done to me but my people and my village did not forgave what he done until now. He only contacted me by giving me gifts and stuffs"

M/n finishes his story while all of them nod with understanding and cale was really glad that he killed that white thing. He was really jealous and another feeling that he didn't know creeping inside him maybe obsession? Possession? (Owhh yandere cale? 👀)

"Thats all my relationship is with Barrow and i never been involve in his evil antics"

Eruhaben nod, convinced by what he talk about. As well as alberu he doesn't feel any word of lie coming through him so he was convinced as well. Choi han well he just nod and feel sympathy towards m/n

"So what is the thing in your hand m/n"

Choi han ask hesitantly, while m/n look at at his hand that is a small box and on the table a scroll with a record device.

"Hmmm.. im so sorry i cant tell you what is inside because i cannot broke someone promise but i can tell you what is inside this box and what all of this is"

M/n open the small box contain a beautiful sapphire ring.

"Firstly this is the ring that Barrow always used to propose to me-"

M/n stopped because he felt an aura that is similar to a dragon. He look at cale, as cale look at the ring box as if he want to take it and burn it into ashes. The rest look at him sense by his aura as eruhaben nudges him by his back. Cale snapped out of it and look at m/n and noticed that he look a little bit pale by his aura. Cale apologizes and look guilty, M/n relaxed a bit,

"Ehem, its ok anyways let me continue. And all of this is Barrow's will he want only me to read it if he didn't survived the last war he had with the heroes"

Choi han had a bit of thought as he said,

"Do you resent us- i mean the heroes about killing him"

The rest was really panicked especially cale and look at choi han wanted to beat him up for his little slip up. They just begged that m/n didn't hear that.

"... Im just sad that he died but i never resent the heroes for what they did because he deserve it"

The rest nodded with disagreement but stopped by what he said next.

".... But the reason he did all of this is not only because of him himself..."

The rest was confused of what he just said then alberu ask,

" What was the reason then?"

M/n look at him and said with a pitiful smile,

" I cannot say anything but he was a pitiful child..."

He packed everything without saying anything else leave the rest confused but let it slide because they didn't want to pressure m/n with questions anymore.
