"You ready?" My dad asked strapping my vest up. "Been ready." I say putting the guns in the holster. "Alright let get going." He says walking out. "You look like spy kids." Declen jokes. "And you look like a bitch." I say walking past him. "Who are you riding with?" Maverick asked. "Tayler?" I say more of a question. "Hmm?" He says not even paying attention. Maverick looked at me. "He's good I promise." I say. "At the mission or in the bed?" He says looking at me. "Stop." I laughed. "I'm serious Melanie"Maverick says. "Damn can't even joke around this mother fucka." I scoff while looking around. "You're gonna see Vin I hope you know that." He says. "Okay?" I say confused. "You can't make or let your feelings get in the way of this." He says. "Feelings? I don't have any towards him Mav. This is work and work only." I say. He slowly nodded at me. "LEAVING IN TEN EVERYONE!" He yells while looking at me before walking away.
"Alright Ferragamo's are riding in one car and Ferragamo's only." My dad says walking passed me and walking to the suburban truck. "That's us, hope it isn't a dying speech again." Macklin says walking with me to the car. We both looked at the front seat and I just got in the back because I don't have time fighting with him this early in the morning. "Whats up old man?" Macklin asked. "Alright, it's been a minute since we've done this together and what Mav has told me it isn't gonna be an pretty fight to make it home... all in one piece." He says. Oh god, he's about to do what he does best. Cheat the mission without any scratches on him. "What's your plan man?" I asked. "The team already searched the whole premises and found an back entrance and im gonna drop you Mel off and you go in put the piece in come out the from and you play on the field for a while then you get out of there." He says looking at me through the rear view mirror. And it wasn't just a normal stare. It was an I'm not fucking around stare. I nodded and closed my mouth. "Okay." I say giving him a thumbs up.
After about a fifteen to twenty minute ride to the middle of nowhere we pulled up to steel door with my dads team standing outside of them waiting for us. "Put these in and Cornell will follow you in." Dad says handing me an ear piece. I took a deep breath before stepping out. "You got your guns?" My dad asked. "Yep." I say. "Front and back?" He asked. "Mhm" I say. "Knife?" He asked. Pocket and dagger." I say hitting my sides. "Cornell lets move it." my dad says pulling off. "Mel?" I'm guessing Cornell says coming up to my side. They're all dressed in black with helmets covering their faces so it's kinda hard to tell. "Hey Cornell." I say walking in with him.
As we walked in two more boys from Daddy's stack team came to my side. Another behind as I walked into the building. "Now we're gonna go up these stairs, up the elevator, that takes us right to the floor without being seen by the cameras." He says. Stairs to an elevator ... That doesn't make sense. "My dad didn't say anything about an elevator?"I say stepping back which caused me to bump into the guard. "That's funny, I didn't talk to your father, Melanie." He says and that wasn't Cornell. "Oh fuck." I say kicking him off the ledge, and kicked the one behind me down the stairs and made a run for it. "Hey can you fucking hear me?" I say messing with the ear piece. "Now I can." My dad says. "Okay well, that wasn't Cornell and someone else is here so either you get out and make something shake or just kill yourselves now." I say running for my life. "What do you mean?" He says. "There's another team in here, Bombshells and or Laura" I say running with no destination.
Theres dim lights every few hundred feet, I can't really see where im going but there has to be a door or an exit somewhere around here. I saw a ladder that led up to a tunnel. I looked back and they weren't far behind me. I climbed up I landed in muggy sewer water. "Ohhh this shit smells real bad." I groaned as I landed into the water. "Mel where are you?" Declen asked. "Um, I really couldn't tell you but, come find me." I say ringing my hair out.
