Im meeting Laura at an old rec building to see what are her actual plans for her side of this missions. I turned off my car and got out and walked inside, waited for Laura."You went back to blonde...Wow that was good." Laura says as I walked in. As I walked in there was about 10 to 15 people here other than her original team. "Who are all these people?" I say walking around the little snack table she set up. "I'll let them introduce themselves." She says turning towards them.
One guy stood up. "New York 2011 the Melanie Ferragamo flaked out on a mission and costed three oof my men." He says. I nodded and looked at the next person. "Louisiana 2013 reckless Melanie flaked out and left me to fight an alligator. Thats why I have one leg now." She says standing up. "Ouch." I say nodding. "Florida 2006, Melanie was roughly around eight nine. Long story short she set off a bomb in my building, injured me be badly and killed my wife and daughter. I raised my eyebrows and looked at Laura. They want to Kill Melanie.
As the stories went on and on they got worse, Melanie killed this important person in this person life, Melanie stole a bunch of money from this person, Melanie switched sides oh I could go on. I got up and walked Laura in the corner. "Alright, we have less than twenty four hours to have a stacked team to stop her. What is you plan?" I asked her. "We're definitely taking Florida, Louisiana and a few more. She's gonna see them and it's gonna throw her off. Every strong women has a weakness. And her weakness is you." She says. "Me? Melanie never liked me." I scoffed. "Like I said, Every strong women has a weakness." She says walking away.
"Yo Vin look at your replacement!" Big Mark laughs an points to a kid who looks just like me. "Wassup, im Kane." He says tryna dap me up. I just looked at his hand then at him. "Vin doesn't like new people he's kinda shy." Big Mark says in his ear. "Oh, Anyways do you have the geometric piece of the cube?" He asked me. "Yeah." I say pulling it out of my pocket. Jaiden really left it in a case with a lock, passcode, and password to unlock it. But I just pushed it over for the glass to break and grabbed it. Work smarter not harder gang. "Does it piss you off to see others doing your job?" Antwon asked creeping up on me. "Nope, but it's gonna piss you off when one of the fifty states kill Melanie before you do." I say wile walking away.
"Yo can I ask you something?" A women that wants to kill Mel asked me. "Wassup?" I say while sitting down. "Whats your story on Melanie or any of Ferragamo's honestly. That Laur called you in?" She asked me. "Laur?" I scoffed. "I...I don't have one honestly. I'm Laura's son in law." I lied. She nodded. "That's weird Natalie has never been married."She says. "Okay are you getting somewhere with this because im not about to sit and answer baby questions. What?" I say looking at her. "All imma say is. You stand in my way of killing her. I will no hesitate to kill you." She says. "Ope, there's her balls everyone. Im not afraid of death and Melanie isn't. Since she conned you, you, and you, killed relatives of you, you, and you. She ain't afraid to get her hands a little dirty." I say getting up and walking to the door.
"Vincent. If you're going back to go play boyfriend to Melanie... Tell her that the war she's been wanting is coming." Laura says behind me. "I would love to go play boyfriend but your whack job of a daughter found her way into Melanie's head thinking WE'RE MARRIED!" I yelled at her. "You told me you loved her, so don't play dumb like you didn't wanna marry her." She says. I scoffed and wiped my face. Is she serious right now? "WE ARE NOT MARRIED. JUST BECAUSE YOU GUYS SAY WERE MARRIED DOESN'T MEAN WE'RE FUCKING MARRIED." I yelled. Laura stared at me with a devilish smile on her face. "Okay Vin." She says shrugging. I rubbed my chin and walked out.
Im not playing Laura's stupid little mind games, and im not dealing with Melanie's murder game. Both are going for blood and im sorry I honestly think Melanie is the one who's gonna be able to walk away from this. I know I should be helping Melanie on this mission, but my loyalty stays with Laura... Plus if I walked into that house a bullet would go straight to the dome. Mel doesn't wanna see me after she found out I was talking to Laura. But all is fair in Love and War.
