The only human to know that Eiko is alive is none other than Kagaya Ubuyashiki or more known as 'Oyakata-sama'. Well his children and wife know too but let's cut the details.
He found out after a few months. How Oyakata-sama of him hehe. Eiko didn't really mind as he was her father. Not by blood though. He was gentle, kind and didn't say things without reasoning. Unlike a certain wind Hashira.
After the meeting with the hashira's disbanded, the other side of the stand was a person laying down as if she wasn't in sacred ground. She was a demon now and a former Hashira.
"Eiko? I haven't seen you in a long time" Oyakata-sama smiled as his daughters removed the stand (IDK WHAT ITS CALLED HELP) and setted it aside, revealing said women laying down whom, hastily got up and bowed at him.
"How have you been?" She asked him as a visible frown was on her face now.
"I've been better," He says as he continues to smile. Hinaki and Nichika were still smiling although they shook their heads slightly indicating he's not getting better.
"Let's get to the point shall we?" both daughters left to sit outside, on orders from Eiko.
Time passed as they discussed many topics within the few hours they had
"Thank you for your time, i'll make a move now" Eiko said as she bowed her head and left
As the sun set, she was able to walk around freely under the night sky.
There was Tanjiro, on the roof meditating. It seems someone has started their total concentration breathing
Just as Eiko was about to approach the boy, Shino-chan showed up beside him. A tad bit too close which made the boy blush at the close distance but soon was gone when Shinobu started asking him questions.
Eiko frowned as her friend was still mad at Douma, the second upper moon who had killed her older sister, Kanae Kocho. Albeit she was lucky she wasn't eaten, since Douma more appreciates woman whenever he eats humans.
Shino-chan made her move, so did Eiko
"I don't think we've made introductions yet" Eiko said as she was also meditating beside him. Said boy was spooked but still was able to remain calm even after smelling the demon in the air. Although her demon scent isn't very noticeable "I'm surprised you haven't yelled yet, why's that?"
"Well... you were there when I was with Tamayo-san and Yushiro-san and you didn't attack them. You also seemed to know them..." Tanjiro slowly said as he turned to look at her. He could see that her hair was white with black tips.
"Your quite the logical person. I like you." Eiko nodded to herself as she also turned her head to look at the boy. She had black eyes, engraved within them 'unknown moon'. He was surprised since he never heard of it aside from the 12 moons. "I'm Nagahito Eiko, please call me Eiko" She brought her hand out indicating him to shake it. Tanjiro gladly accepted it
"I'm Kamado Tanjiro!" He said enthusiastically but she put her index finger on his lip. He went red from embarrassment, forgetting it was late at night and that maybe She wasn't supposed to be here. "Sorry" He whispered while scratching the back of his head
"Don't sweat it" some defeaning silence had passed until the red boy broke it, obv
"Say Eiko-san... have you ever heard of the 'Hinokami Kagura'?" asked the boy. the girl hummed in response, thinking of an answer that was fulfilling enough
"'Hinokami Kagura' or known as the dance of the fire god... is also a form of breathing. In fact the starter of all breathings" She explained
"...what?" Tanjiro's eyes widened at the news he had learnt. It was better than nothing. The dance that his father knew was... a breathing technique?
"It's called the sun breathing. That is all that I can say but if you want to learn more, the best person to ask is Kyojuro's father, the former flame hashira"
"Rengoku-san? Wait, how do you know Rengoku-san, Eiko-san?" Tanjiro asked, confused.
"I was.. A former pillar" Eiko whispered as she looked upwards, admiring the moon
"Oh.. i'm sorry for asking" The redhead bowed his head a 90 degrees making the young lady in front him giggle at his formality.
"Don't worry about me, worry about yourself. You've forgotten about your breathing for a while now" She smirked as he frantically tried to continue to concentrate on his breathing. "Well, best you busy yourself with training now, the worst of the worst might come anytime" she stood up and dusted her clothing
"alright! Thank you for the information you gave me tonight, Eiko-san!" Tanjiro thanked, not very loudly this time and bid his farewell
