chapter 12 !

A month had passed since then and Eiko was still asleep. As per said, Eiko never got to sleep lately and was one, sleep deprived and two, hungry. As a demon who does not eat humans but consumes their blood, not very much energy is there now? Especially for someone who fights and uses their blood technique.

"Eiko, we're going somewhere" Yushiro came into her room and sighed. She was still sleeping after so long. The boy couldn't be mad as he had no idea what kind of things she had to go through along with the stress that comes with it.

"Tamayo-san has told me you must follow" he continued and shook the women slightly

"Get me my dark blue turtleneck and we'll talk" she murmured as she sat up, still on her bed rubbing her eyes

"Finally awake I see" Tamayo smiled as she leaned against the door frame seeing the snow haired lady just waking up from her sleep. "Did you have a good sleep?" She asked gently

Eiko hummed in response as she took the pail filled with water and a cloth from Tamayo. She damped the cloth and squeezed the water out and wiped her face with it. "Thank you" she murmured as she also took the turtleneck that Yushiro had given her

"Where are we going?"

"To the demon slayer headquarters! Caw! Caw!" Eiko's eyes widened as she spun around and saw the bird at the window "wake up Nagahito-sama! Oyakata-sama has asked for your presence as well! Caw! Caw!"

"Nee-chan accepted their invitation but not mine...?" She said absentmindedly which caused for Tamayo to freeze "i'm not coming with you" she said darkly

"P-please" Tamayo whispered as she sat down beside Eiko, holding her hands. Eiko could see the fear in her eyes.

"We'll be fine, I won't let a single soul cut you. If it'll make you feel any better, the hashira's accepted me, a demon along with Nezuko-chan! We'll go over there tonight, alright?" she gave her a gentle smile as she leaded her out of her room

"Yushiro, make sure you pack everything you need. Help Nee-chan with whatever she needs help with. I'll be informing Shinobu you'll be arriving later" The boy nodded his head and went out to leave Eiko alone. She changed out of her turquoise one and put on the dark blue. She also told the Karasu to tell Shinobu about them staying over

"It's really happening huh..." she whispered to herself as she saw her reflection in the mirror "guess it's time bring this bad boy out" she chuckled as she unsheathed her own nichirin blade that she had left untouched. She had trained with Kokushibo to enhance her strikes. Although using wooden swords

Her blade was a clean greyish black coating. Her hilt was in the shape of a blue moon with the holder being black. She had forgotten how beautiful her blade was, made by none other than the Haganezuka Hotaru. Her swordsmith.

"Nee-chan and Yushiro, are you both set?" Eiko said as she held onto her sheath, steadied on the side of her hip. Yushiro had a backpack filled with mostly paper for his blood technique, blindfold "don't over do it with the talismans" he nodded in reply

"Blood arts, safety heavens" Eiko was seen moving her arms and doing some sort of movement. After it was done she firmly held both of them on their shoulders "that should do it" She smiled proudly as a shield wrapped around Yushiro and Tamayo's body and disappeared, turning invisible. After all it was a new technique

"Mind me asking what that did?" Yushiro raised an eyebrow at what had happened

"I put a shield on you guys duh" Eiko rolled her eyes but continued to elaborate "a shield that'll protect you from anything, it won't wear off till either I stop it or die. Don't worry, nichirn blades can't penetrate it. Look!" Eiko had unsheathed her sword and tried to poke Yushiro in the side. No blood was spilled

Tamayo let out a sigh of relief but halted when Eiko continued "eh but they could still go harsh on you" she scratched the back of her head "just stay away from Shinazugawa Sanemi, the wind hashira. He has white short hair and a load of scars on his face and abdomen."

"Alright time to go, we'll be going to the Ubuyashiki estate as promised" Eiko held her hand out for the duo to take. Albeit they hesitated at first, they took her hand as they felt a light squeeze coming from Eiko "we'll be fine, Chichiue's orders are absolute throughout the entire organisation"
