An Alvin and Brittany love story

Together forever?

"B-b-brit?" Alvin said three months later. "W-will you m-marry m-me?" Brittany's big blue eyes were even bigger. "OMG! Yes!" Then she started laughing. "W-what? Are you okay Brit?" "Huh? Oh yeah I'm fine, just you stuttered so much you sounded like Simon." She pulled Alvin's hat over his eyes. "Watch it." Alvin growled. Then they heard a weird noise in the trees.

Alvin jumped up and Brittany hid behind him.  Alvin looked at Brittany, "Stay here, I'm gonna go check it out." Once Alvin was in the tree Brittany heard a loud yell, "Chiiiiiiiiper!" "How's it going?" Chipper asked in a fake southern accent. Alvin smacked his twin brother. "Owie." Chipper replied.

Brittany tried to hide her laughter. Her and Chipper had dated once, and she still liked him a little bit. But she knew if she told Alvin he would probably kill his brother. So she hid her face in her hands. Then she heard this music, "Your cheatin' heart is gonna tell on you". For a second she was confused, then she realized it was just Jeanette calling her. 

She picked up, "Yeah?" Jeanette's voice came out in a rush, "How was it? Simon told me that Alvin had the ring hidden under his pillow! Oh no! Did I ruin the surprise?! Oh I'm a terrible, cheating liar!" "Calm down Jean, you didn't ruin the surprise. Wait, are you cheating AGAIN?!" The line went dead. "Of course." Brittany mumbled. 

Brittany looked up at the tree, where she could hear a loud fistfight.  "Alvin, dear? Are you okay?" She shouted up the tree. All she heard was Chipper, saying, "Oooooh, she called you dear."
