This was going nowhere.
Sally then cleared her throat.
"Y'know Amy, you were pretty cool standing up to Sonic like that!"
Amy looked up at Sally.
"Really?"
"Yeah!" Sally said, "I wish I had the guts to do that to my brother!"
"Wait, you had a fight with your brother?"
Uh oh... thought Sally.
"Sally..." Amy began, "is this actually a vacation, or are you running away from your problems?"
Sally sighed.
I guess the cat's out of the bag, huh...?
"Listen," Sally began, "My brother was trying to get me to stop 'adventuring' and start taking responsibility as next in line for the throne."
Sally took a deep breath.
"Then it went into me being immature and other things. Soon, I was packing my bags and on my way to the vacation home."
"So THAT'S why you were leaving the kingdom!" Amy exclaimed.
Sally nodded.
"Sometimes, I wish I wasn't a princess just so I could live a normal life!" Sally said. "And, if I'm being honest..."
Sally put her hand on Amy's.
"Hanging out with you made me feel like that!"
Amy blushed at this remark.
She tried looking away, but Sally already noticed.
