Lis?

As in... Lisa?

How the fuck.

Feet planted to the sidewalk, Lisa was too baffled to even move.

No one ever-

What.

She thought back on her and Jennie's small amount of interactions.

She most definitely didn't mention her name. Not once.

She thought back on todays interaction.

The McDonalds bag didn't have her name on it, her skateboard didn't have her name on it, she didn't even mention her name. Not once.

Lisa stood on the busy pavement for longer than intended before attempting to locate the shorter girl.

Losing her in the rather large crowd of people, Lisa hops onto her skateboard, hoping to clear the way in search of Jennie.

Her tiny figure couldn't have taken her that far.

After desperately looking around for the girl, Lisa finally spots her sitting on a bench with the blonde she identified as Roseanne earlier.

Lisa dangerously makes her way across the road, earning a few honks by incoming cars, which also grabbed the attention of her target.

"What the shit..." Jennie whispers, watching Lisa recklessly cross the street.

"Does she want her food back or something...?" Roseanne questioned while munching on the remaining bits of her - well, Lisa's - food.

"Jennie." Lisa breathes out, panting from her excruciatingly long run.

"Lisa..?" Jennie mimics.

"No... No - how do you know that?" Lisa asks still trying to catch her breath.

"Know what?" Roseanne chimes in.

Lisa gives her a glance and averts her attention back to Jennie.

"My name - How do you know my name?" Lisa questions once again.

Jennie lets out a laugh of hysteria. "Your name? How do I know your name?"

"What?" Lisa is now beyond confused at the amusement Jennie seems to be getting out of this.

"A google search, Lalisa." Jennie says in between laughs, the simplicity of her answer making Roseanne laugh as well.

Lisa snickers annoyingly at the laughing pair.

"Okay." Lisa takes a deep breath, "OK. What could you have possibly looked up to find that information?"

"Your address." Jennie answers.

"My address?" Lisa repeats.

"Is that not what I just said?" Jennie replies.

Lisa huffs and face palms herself over her mask.

"And take that damn mask off, I may know your name but your face is still unidentified, Manobal." Jennie says reaching for the fabric, causing Lisa to immediately swat her hand away and take a step back.

"Manoban" Lisa states in a correcting manner, receiving a questioning look from the shorter girl. "It's pronounced Manoban."

"Manoban, Manobal, same difference." Jennie says, rolling her eyes.

"If there wasn't a difference, I wouldn't have corrected you." Lisa states firmly.

"Are we done here?" Roseanne questions, eyeing the pair.

"What do you say?" Jennie asks looking back at the Lisa.

"I say we never speak again." Lisa replies.

Lisa almost thinks her suggestion was ignored but Jennie's deep breath rejected those thoughts.

"Jesus are you always like this?" Jennie says more to herself than to Lisa, resulting in a cautious stare from the taller "Ok. Yes, Lisa let's never speak again, in fact, let's not even cross paths in this small ass, godawful, town again. I mean, its not like I can see you from a mile away with that stupid fucking mask - which I'm sure you think is the absolute coolest thing ever, I mean, what's this for anyway, huh?" Jennie says fiddling with the fabric of Lisa's mask, "so you can keep up your little 'mysterious girl' dilemma? Like it didn't take me a single google search to find you? You know Lalisa, you really are full of yourself, you think you can get away with anything because you assume you can never be caught? Well, you're wrong. You haven't been caught because nobody cares. Nobody cares, okay? Nobody cares about you, or your stupid mansion, or your vandalizations at the asscrack of town. In fact, you are a nobody. So maybe, just maybe, we shouldn't ever speak again because not speaking to you won't affect me in any way." Jennie nearly yells as her voice increasing got louder throughout her rant.

It was Lisa's turn to let out a laugh. A laugh she hasn't let out since... well, since forever, and glancing at Jennie's best friend just made it worse. Roseanne's face was absolutely priceless. Like she was looking at someone she's never met before.

Jennie lets out a few heavy puffs before turning back to Lisa. "What?"

"What? What do you mean 'what?' Do you hear yourself?" Lisa says, still not being able to control her laughter. "God, you sound like... fuck I don't even know what you sound like." Lisa says, hysterical.

This earns an eye-roll from Jennie.

"What's got you so worked up, huh?" Lisa questions, "Is it the mask? Would you like to see my face, hm?" Lisa says in a mocking voice, teasingly lifting up the bottom of her mask, revealing the base of her neck.

Jennie clenches her jaw and balls he fist, Lisa takes notice of this action.

"Oh?" Lisa signals towards her clenched fists. "Are you going to hit me?" Lisa says, dramatically throwing her hands up defensively.

This is - apparently - the last time she's going to see Jennie in this "god awful, small ass town" , according to the smaller girl, so might as well have some fun with it.

"You bet not..." Roseanne gives Jennie a look.

Jennie gives her a glare and averts back to Lisa. She was obviously not going to fight her, no chance...

"I think it's time we part ways." Jennie states.

"Oh thank God." Lisa says flicking up her skateboard into her hands and putting her mask back on properly. "Was starting to think we'd be going back and forth like this all night."

Lisa holds out her hand, "Cya later".

Jennie glances at her hand and back up at her, "Cya never." Jennie corrects.

"Ah, bummer." Lisa sarcastically replies, hopping back onto her skateboard.

Right before she skated off... "Cya around, Ruby Jane."
