"You're absolutely insane." Jennie partially yells while sticking her head out the drivers seat of Lisa's truck.

"For letting you drive my truck? Yeah." Lisa responds, securing the rope around the back of her truck.

"Please, I could ram this truck into a building and you'd be able to pay off the truck and the building." Jennie says while checking herself out in the rearview mirror.

"I wouldn't be able to pay anything off if I'm dead." Lisa retorts giving Jennie a look through the mirror.

Jennie finds it hard to fight back a smile and hops out the front seat, "So, where am I taking you?"

"You're taking yourself home, I'm just coming along." Lisa says and tightens the rope around her skateboard.

"Right, right, and how exactly are you planning on doing that?" Jennie asks eyeing the skateboard.

"I'll be riding on this" Lisa signals towards her skateboard, "While you ride in this", Lisa says throwing Jennie her truck keys.

Jennie takes a second to process the absurd idea. "Yeah, no". Jennie states firmly

"What do you mean 'no'?" Lisa says, lifting Jennies bike to the back of her trunk.

"I mean no I am not going to be responsible for your death."

"If I die, there wouldn't be much to take responsibility for." Lisa says.

Jennie suddenly feels an ache for the younger, what did she mean by that?

"What do you mean?" Jennie asks.

"I mean, no ones going to miss me, no one is going to care, no one is going to turn up for a funeral, I mean, after all, I am a nobody, right?" Lisa says smirking at the last bit, remembering Jennie's words.

Guilt rushes over Jennie as she recalls the harsh words she had spat earlier. "Lisa..."

Shocked at the quiet tone, Lisa quickly averts her attention back to Jennie and clicks her tongue, "Hey, don't worry about it, I'm okay with that, I've been living for almost 18 years now Jennie, trust me, I know nobody cares, I mean, who would?" Lisa lets out a genuine laugh, because it truly doesn't bother her.

Jennie finds relief in her laugh but still feels the guilt of her words, "Sorry." she mutters quietly, avoiding contact.

"Apology not accepted." Lisa blankly states and goes back to securing Jennie's bike to her truck.

"Excuse me?" For once in her life Jennie takes it upon herself to apologize and and it's not accepted?

"Apology. Not. Accepted." Lisa says once more.

"What? Why?" Jennie is beyond confused at this point.

"You know Jennie, this is the part where you ask what you can do to earn my forgiveness." Lisa states.

"For someone that has had like, zero human interaction, that was a pretty accurate statement." Jennie responds.

"Yet I still don't hear the words." Lisa says.

"You want me to get in the truck and drive?" Jennie says, already sensing where Lisa might be going with this.

"Bingo." Lisa says and hops onto her skateboard.

"Lisa... this really isn't safe." Jennie says thoughtfully.

"You only live once?" Lisa tries to convince the stubborn girl.

Jennie refuses.

"Cmon Jen, what's it gonna take?" Lisa asks, pouting.

Jennie ignores the feeling she gets when she hears the nickname the younger made for her. I mean, it was her usual nickname but the way it rolled off of Lisa's tongue...
