A/N: the above song is this creepy track I found from akira. It was a lot creepier in the movie, but it is still pretty creepy on its own.

I sat in the corner of the room, watching as almost everyone from school started dancing, or just talking with friends to the strange club music I had never heard of. A couple people were rinking beer, wich was pretty normal for these kinds of partys. I had one, but I didn't plan on getting drunk.

Suddenly my phone rang in my pocket, and I put the beer down, quickly walking outside to answer it. I froze mid step when I saw a girl and a guy kissing. They were making weird noises, and I decided I wouldn't talk right next to them, so I walked to my car across the street. I could hear the blaring music from here.

"Hello?" I said into the phone .

"Get out of there." A distorted voice said. it sounded feminine yet demonic and terrified. "No! No!" The voice screamed, crying proceeding after it.

I didn't say anything, dumbfounded.

The cry's were cut off my screams of terror, pleading for life. "NO!" A shrill voice cried, screaming and crying as the sound of a knife slashing at flesh rang through the phone. The line went dead.

I sat, confused, still for the moment. I looked at the phone in my hand, searching to see if I could call the number back. But the call wasn't there, as if no one had called at all.

I threw the phone in the seat, horrified and scarred. It couldn't be a prank, not if the call didn't register.

I took a deep breath, getting out of the car and leaving the phone there. I stood next to my car for a second, still and silent as I tried to find an explanation for what I jut heard.

I decided that it was a prank, and that I was just making a bigger fool out of myself for acting this way, so I got back into the car and decided I would go home. This party sucked anyways.

I started the car, the headlights illuminating the road.

I started the car, looking up at the windshield only to see something more horrifying. It was a figure, running towards me with a limp, screams escaping the presumably female silhouette.

Scared I slammed on the gas, maneuver so I just barley missed her as I sped home, scared half to death.

I was overreacting I told myself, It was probably just some high girl. Maybe I had too much to drink and I was starting to see things. Or maybe someone slipped something in my drink. But I didn't have that much. I didn't even finish the one beer I had started.

I pushed the thoughts out of my mind, parking the car and running inside. I left my phone behind. I didn't care if someone called me, it wasn't worth it.

My parents weren't home yet, as I suspected, so I kicked my shoes off and attempted to relax. It was probably just a prank, or maybe I was drunk a little and then they pranked me. Or maybe someone slipped something into my drink and then someone else pranked me. Yeah that. It was all just coincidence. Nothing to be afraid of.

I decided I would just watch some TV and try to get my mind off of it, when there was a knock on the door. Trying to stay as quiet as possible as I inched toward the door, in case it wasn't my parents. I peeked out the window, hoping to be reassured with the sight of my parents. Instead I was greeted with a dark figure standing my the door, black hair covering her face. She was wearing a once white gown that looked like it was a school uniform. I could hear silent whimpers from the other side of the door, but rain started to softly pelt the window, picking up in a few seconds and drowning out the sobs. I waited for her to leave, but she just stood there, and I didn't move, in fear the she would notice me. I didn't have the curtains drawn back anymore, but stared at the figure through the thin white curtains and waited. Maybe it was someone I knew? Or another prank? I didn't want to confront it, but it was crying. The least I could do was try to figure out why, right?
