Alright, this is a terribly written fanfiction and it was my first, it's terrible but if you want to read it, read it I don't care
There are more species out there than any elf knew, but what if Sophie was one of those new discovered species? Follow...
Sophie hugged her friends one more time before turning into an eagle and she flew off, she looked down to see, elves. No, that couldn't be right, elves stayed IN the Lost Cities, unless permitted by the council, but why were they here now? Did they recognize her? Who were they? We're the Neverseen or Blackswan? She couldn't tell from where she was in the air so she landed on a branch watching them, squinting her eyes trying to see them closer, and without thinking she jumped down and turned into a tiger, walking slowly and quietly, trying to get a good look.*CRACK*. She looked down seeing she stepped on a stick and broken it, the elves' heads snapped around, and Sophie wanted to run, it was HER friends from the Lost Cities, she didn't run, she was just frozen in her spot, they were just glaring at her. She wanted to transform back and hug them, but then they would try to bring her back, but she was happy here, and she was ready to face all the questions, but she also didn't feel ready! Why did life have to be so hard? Sophie bolted towards the village, her friends close behind her, she ran faster, they got faster too until she had reached the village, she didn't want to alarm anyone so she took the longer route to the castle, through the forest, she jumped up trees and jumped back down, she looked back to see that Linh was in front of the group, she never knew Linh could run that fast. She kept going until a familiar voice yelled, "SURROUND THE TIGER!" She whipped her head around to see that Keefe was the one the one that yelled it. Linh jumped in front of Sophie, Tam, and Dex on her right, Fitz and Biana on her left, and Keefe and another girl, with green eyes and curly brown hair, jumped behind her, they walked towards her, making the circle smaller.

(Here is a diagram) "BACK OFF!" She growled, and Linh jumped. "YOU CAN TALK?!" Keefe exclaimed. "OF COURSE I CAN!" Sophie growled again, keeping her eyes out for any attacks- one thing she had learned from being in the shapeshifter kingdom, was to NEVER as in NEVER EVER trust elves, they were shapeshifter's biggest enemies, well that went for ALL enemies. "Let me go and nobody's neck will get snapped!" Sophie growled again, glaring at Keefe, oh gosh how she had missed him. "That's not scary at all Miss Tiger Lady, we've been through worse than snapping necks," Tam snapped back, "And why are you looking at Keefe that way?!" Sophie just wanted to go home, see her father and hang out with him, but NO she HAD to run into her old friends. "No reason, he just reminded me of somebody I knew," Sophie lied. "Your lying Tiger," Keefe said calmly. "I forgot about empaths," Sophie growled. "Wait what?" Biana asked. "How do you know about empaths?!" Fitz asked. "They're stupider than I remember," Sophie muttered under her breath. "What do you mean!? We're stupider than you remember!? Who in Bronte's name are you!?" Dex yelled. "I'm an old friend of yours- actually every single one of you, now let me go!" She hisses. "No!" Linh said. "Get the sedative!" Tam yelled. Oh heck Nah! She looked up into the sky, praying to the gods to give her the speed she needed to get out of this mess. Dex grabbed a sedative, the sweat smell filling her nose. (I forgot how sedatives work, so I'm just pretending that they already gave it to her) The world started to spin, but she broke through Linh, running to the castle as fast she could, feeling tired, but she pushed harder, losing the strength to stay a Tiger and she turned back, she was just outside the castle before world turned black.
