(This chapter is gonna be about Aloueette, or Project Moonlark 2.0, a bit of backstory, and her life in the lost cities, be prepared for a longer chapter than usual)
*Aloueette POV*
Aloueette ran through the halls of Boston High, she was late to class, once again. She kept feeling everyone's emotions around her as she ran, she opened the door to her class, the teacher wasn't in there yet, and she rushed to her seat, putting her bag on the ground and pulling out her Percy Jackson book to read for a bit. (YES I AM A FAN OF PERCY JACKSON AND I WILL IN THE FUTURE MAKE A PERCY JACKSON FANFIC, carry on now) As soon as she opened the first page, the teacher walked in and she put it back in her bag. "Good Morning class!" Her teacher, Mr. Forkel said. "Good morning Mr. Forkel!" The class repeated back to Mr. Forkel. "Now, today we'll review the American Revolutionary War! Now, who led the Americans?" He asked the class, and Aloueette shot up her hand. "Yes, Aloueette?" He asked. "George Washington!" she exclaimed. "Good, and do you know who the first President of the United States was?" He asked Aloueette. "George Washington!" She said. "Good job! And since our test is tomorrow, I'll give you time now to study. The class got out their notes while Aloueette got out a watch, carefully looking at the time. After what seemed to be forever, the bell rang and the class collected their stuff and rushed out of the class to get on the bus to go on their field trip. She jumped on and grabbed her phone out of her bag and started to look at the school newsletter they sent out to the kids if they have phones or to the parents. Soon enough they arrived at a barn and the bus stopped and let the kids get off the bus, and their tour guide got in front of the group. "Welcome to Willow Tree Farms today you'll meet the farmer that owns this farm and he'll show you around and teach you how farmers live each day on the farm!" The tour guide said as kids murmured among themselves. The tour guide had brown eyes and brown hair. The tour guide walked off and the kids followed, Aloueette right behind them.
*TWO HOURS LATER*
Aloueette got back on the bus and went to the very back and she got back on her phone when a guy with Strawberry blonde hair and Periwinkle blue eyes sat beside her, he wore blue jeans and a T-shirt that said 'Tech is awesome!'. "What are you doing in the back of the bus?" He asked. "I just like the back I guess, why are you back here?" She asked. "Oh just wanted to be in the back," he responded. Aloueette blushed a bit, why the heck was she blushing!? "What's your name anyway?" The boy asked her. Aloueette fiddled with her bracelet. Why did he want to know her name? "Aloueette, and yours?" She asked, she was getting strange emotions from him. "And your last name?" He asked. "Nice to meet you And your last name," Aloueette said. "No! Your last name!" He said. "Why do you want to know my last name?" She asked puzzled. "Because I kinda wanna know!" He said back. "Fine, my name is Aloueette Jones! And yours?" She asked. "Dex Dizzee!" He said. "Have you ever read somebodies mind or felt people's emotions?" He asked. "Why the heck do you want to know that!?" She barked back. "Because I'm just wondering!" He said calmly. She felt his emotions get a bit more excited. "I've felt emotions!" She said quietly, and his emotions filled with relief. "What am I feeling now then?" He asked. His emotions changed from relief to happiness. "Happiness," she said. "Would you believe me if I said there are elves in the world?" He asked. Aloueette laughed, what the heck was this guy trying to get to her?! "Like elves that work in the North Pole or elves that can only be freed with a piece of clothing?" She laughed. "This must've been how it went with Fitz when he found Sophie," he muttered. "Sophie and who?" She asked. "Nothing, I'll show you the lost cities, where elves live, and then you can come live with us!" He said. "Wait what-" Aloueette stammered before Dex pulled out a crystal when Aloueette opened her eyes, she was in front of a mansion made out of- crystals, and large golden gaits in front of them, the gaits opened, and there stood a group of kids around Dex's age. One boy had dark brown hair and teal eyes, next to him was a girl that looked just like him, then there was a blonde-haired boy with ice eyes, then there was a girl with black hair and grey tips, she had silver blue eyes, next to was a boy that looked exactly like her. "Hey, Wonderboy!" Dex said high fiving the dark brown-haired boy. "Who is this?" The boy asked. "Fitz! This is Aloueette! Aloueette, this is Fitz, his sister Biana, over there Keefe, then those two are Tam and Linh," Dex pointed to each person as he said their names. "Uhhh hi?" Aloueette said waving. "I thought you were going to FIND Sophie! Not some human!" Tam snapped. "Who is this Sophie?!" Aloueette snapped, everyone, looking at her. "A very good friend of ours that got kidnapped six months ago," Keefe whispered. "And my girlfriend," Aloueette couldn't help feeling bad for Keefe. "She's an elf mind you!" Dex snapped. "Any of you tell her a lie," Dex said. "I got it," Tam said. "I'm a part of the neverseen," Tam smirked. Aloueette felt him lying. "Your lying," she smiled. "Well I guess she is an elf, but we need to confirm with Mr. Forkel," Linh said. "Who said my name?" Said a voice and she looked to see Mr. Forkel. "Mr. Forkel?" She asked. "How do you two know each other?" Keefe asked. "He's my History teacher!" She said. "Welcome, Project Moonlark 2.0," Forkel smiled
Aloueette had moved in with the Vackers, and she loved playing dress up and shopping with Biana, she was so much fun to hang out with! Fitz on the other hand was always in his room, staring at the wall, Biana said he was still trying to transmit with Sophie, who was his congate. When she asked what she looked like, Biana told her she had blonde hair and brown eyes. Aloueette knew she was a replacement for her and it made her feel terrible to know that, but she loved battle training. She later learned she had empathy, teleporting, charging, and Mesmer abilities, she acted like any other elf, but that changed when Mr.Forkel asked them to go look in the woods because strange things had been happening.
