A fate miles away

The cat

Well, i just turned 16! Nothing really special has happened to me yet and i really wish something did happen. Life is so boring and my friends are all out of town for spring break. I was walking down the road to see a very pretty cat just walking. I decided to follow it to make sure that the cat was safe. I followed it for 3 hours, i checked my phone and it was 9pm. I should've been worried but i knew there was nothing for me waiting at home. I checked my phone to see where I landed myself at while i waited for the cat to start walking again. I was pretty far from home, and had so many missed calls and texts from my mother. It's not like she cared about me anyway, after a few minutes of texting my friends, my phone dies! Great, now I'm lost with only a cat for a guide and a dead phone, just my luck! I noticed the cat started walking again without a single noise made. Maybe this cat was leading me somewhere special, just for me! After a little more walking i looked at my dad's old timey watch to see 2 extra hours have passed. The cat then went into a hole that was only big enough to fit my arm. Awesome. So i followed this cat for no reason, with no way home, and no communication. Best. Birthday. Ever. I look over to my left to see a pretty long blanket, like someone else was here before me. I saw some sticks too, so i made a little tent to sleep in for the night. I couldn't really sleep though, the mosquitos were super hard to sleep with. So for most of the night i just layed there, itchy. As soon as I saw the sun i tried to use the light to see what was in the hole the cat climbed in. I thought I saw the cat bit i felt something.. odd. It didn't feel like a cat but it felt like some sort of metal? I didn't understand but i used one of the sticks from the tent to help dig a bigger hole to the hole the cat was in. When I was done, i was stunned with what I saw just before my eyes.
