"Ayanokouji, what are we gonna do now?"

"What are we gonna do? What do you mean?"

"Someone knows about our connection, damnit. And it was Horikita herself!" She lowly shouted while glancing behind her shoulder, "And how could you be so calm?!"

I couldn't help but gave her my deadpan look, "You're just overreacting, Karuizawa. This is Horikita we're talking about. She was the most antisocial person I ever had the pleasure to know in my whole life, which was something."

Is it just me or the temperature get lower after I said that? Nah, there's no way for Horikita to heard what I'm saying.

"I know! I don't care about that! It just ruined the vibe where I was your secret agent and no one know about me except for you!"

And you're concerned about that? This girl... Is there's something wrong in her head?

"Are you two done yet with your farce?"

Horikita chilly voice reached our ears as I poured down the hot water into the teapot, startling Karuizawa for a bit before we both returned back to the floor table.

"Here's your green tea."

"No need, I will get to the point." With a raised hand, Horikita refused the tea.

"I insist. I want to prepare dinner first, so might as well wait for me with the tea."

"Like I said before, I don't stay for long in here."

"Hey Horikita-san, it would be better if you just listen to him. His tea was pretty good, you know." Karuizawa suddenly joined while pouring herself a cup of tea.

"Oi, don't start getting comfortable before the guest."

"Are you an idiot? I'm technically still a guest in here." Blowing the steam off, she then began to took a small sips before letting out a satisfied sigh, "Beside, I'm sure Horikita-san have a lot to ask. Might as well trying to calm my nerves with your tea."

"Sigh* Fine, do as you please. I will prepare the dinner, what do you want today?"

"I dunno... Your pick again I guest."

"Is fried rice and egg fine with you?" Karuizawa just nodded while our guest could only blink in confusion at us, "What about you, Horikita?"

"W-wait... I'm not coming here for dinner!" She shook her head, before looking directly at me, "I just want to ask about Sudou-kun's case's progress."

After properly tying my apron, I couldn't help but paused on my track and look at Horikita in surprise. "Wait, you care about it?"

From the look Karuizawa gave to her, it seems like we shares the same thought in here. My surprise didn't last as long as her's though. It wasn't long for me to return back to what I'm doing right now.

"As much as I loathe to admit it, losing Sudou would be quite disadvantageous for us. After gathering a few information from Chabashira-sensei, I found out that a student could obtain point from their club activity. And if what Sudou-kun said about being the best in first-year was true, than it would be a shame if we lose him this early."

You said he was just a burden to our class sometimes ago, though...

The sizzling noise of melted butter reached my ears as the heat began to pick up. I crack some eggs and scramble them on the pan.

"So, you want my help for?" I asked, while glancing at her. For a brief moment, I could see that she has a teacup on her hand.

"What do you mean?"
