On July 11 2011, Madeon, another Electronic artist had released a track called Pop culture. Just like its name, the song featured different pop hits from the previous years including Daft Punk's Aerodynamic and Around the world. It also featured Stardust's "Music Sounds Better with you" Ft. Thomas Bangalter. After Tron, the duo kept working and released a remix album for human after all in late 2012. Their new album other than that, was called Random Access Memories (or RAM). A teaser video was released in May 2013 playing a snippet of one of the tracks on the album called "Give life back to music". The project would feature different sounds and potential collaborators from their childhood. Many would call the album their collaboration album and unfortunately their last, but these are only theories. The album was released in 2013 after eight years of hard work. One of the tracks on the album, Get Lucky featuring Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, made it to the top ten hits in America. The video was simply a picture of the four playing together, but during Daft Punk's synthesizer solo, the picture turns into a pleasant gif of the four actually moving. Speaking of appearance, then came another costume change. The helmets stayed the same of course but the tuxedos were dark and covered with sequins this time. They made an appearance on the red carpet and had multiple photo shoots in their new outfits. They also wore the outfits in their music video for one of their tracks called "loose yourself to dance".The duo won three grammies that year, one for album of the year, one for record of the year and one for the best pop duo group performance. Immediately after The release of the album fans got hopeful. In October of 2013, Fans started to comment on their Facebook page about a theory that was well known. This of course was the theory of Alive 2017 which many hoped would be a tour in 2017 similar to Alive 2007. Unfortunately Daft Punk responded to one of these comments in an interview with a french Radio station saying that it was only a rumor and they wanted to keep their new album the focus. The duo mentioned how it took them a long time to make RAM so you could tell that their fans were asking for a lot.
In June the duo secretly aided Kanye west with three tracks on his album Yeezus. It was quite obvious to listeners that his hit "on sight" but what took fans by surprise is that they also produced "Blkk Sknnn head" (Black skin head). With a very unusual video and loud audio, it was quite a change for Daft punk as it was one of their last works with West. After RAM, there was also many spilled and unreleased tracks being revealed that were'nt really supposed to be. Whether it was from the homework days or even after, they eventually made it onto the internet. One of these was the Daft Punk remix of Junior Kimbrough's I Gotta Try You Girl. Since it had an older bass guitar tune sound, the remix was clearly made in Daft Punk's early days. This was probably around the time that they were making homework but they didn't include it in the actual album because it was in fact a remix.
