To function without blending is a curse. And a nasty one at that.

There are a few ways you can counter-act it.

1) add a smoke graphic, or a divisional graphic that looks aesthetically pleasing like perhaps a lightning bolt.

2) Vingette is a tool most people forsake or take for granted. Here it may be your salvation. i usually put the contrast to the max and THEN put vingette to the max. The edges blur together.

You cant really use blur in this context as it blurs the whole picture and not just the two edges.

3)take a snip from the whole as a collective and blend them in another app.

> there is another feature in which you can make the pictures one in a sense. hold down left click - a blue square thing apears, use it to engulf the pictures and another option will appear at the ribbon.

Group. 

It doesnt really do anything but uust connects the two pictures like lace to a fabric. You can always ungroup them later<

4) Using Transparency.

Now, Transparency mades the ENTIRE picture fade into the background so use it sparingly. But on occassions it is quite useful.

see how it bLeNdS away, at a small percentage, not 64 - it can do wonders.

Note - the tree in the picture is a graphic that came with the template.

You can edit these too - with the same options to choose from as pictures.

I can even change this ones colour entirely and shape it to my will.

And i can change the colour of the text as well. Once you've selected the pictures - the color palate will offer you key colour of the pictures as well.

Now, i dont like the way the grass looks. i want to blend it - but i have no tool to do so. I turn to graphics.

I want smoke - so I search for it under Graphics. Its white - but thats okay, you can change the colour of this as well.

Note its also premium, but it lets me try it on.

It shows me similar recommendations. One of them is black, so to make it easier on myself i take that instead.

Edit it. Note that Graphics dont get too big. It is not easy to hide the watermarks - Any picture you make too big will get watermarks. Instead of one BIG smoke, you can do 3 little ones. it will have the same effect.

I feel satisfied so we move on to the next bit.
