You grabbed one bottle of dandelion wine out of your back pack and put the potion in... Then you use a teleport way point to get out of dragon spine..

Once you found venti, you gave him the bottle immediately..

"Hey venti here!"

You said giving him the bottle,

"Huh, oh hello traveler- :O IS THAT DANDELION WINE FOR ME!"

He shouted while you nodded, he instantly drink it, after a few seconds he poofed and got cat ears and tail...
