Flashback New Orleans 2018-

Hayley stood in the room where Valeria's coffin was in. She opened it and stood by it looking at the daggered girl.

She felt this empty feeling she had been feeling for a while since Valeria had left. She felt like they were letting the girl down every year that passed without her seeing the twins.

She didn't know why she felt guilt. She could see everyone around her had become frustrated without her.

Kol retaliated by trying to find something to bring her back so he wouldn't go mad.

Even if Hayley didn't really get along with Kol she had to admit that after Valeria was gone she got close to him and the Salvatore's knowing that's what the girl would've wanted.

Hayley moved Valeria's hair aside and fixed her hands on top of the other seeing her ring that Kol had given her to propose then looked at her necklace as she fixed it as well.

"Got the man to propose to you twice and you still didn't even take the time to marry him..." Hayley said quietly and shook her head. "It's okay you'll marry him the moment you're back, he's been planning it..."

Hayley continued to talk to her as she fixed the stuff around in the coffin.

Everytime it got hard and she didn't feel like she could continue doing what she was doing she would head down to the room to talk to her.

Everyone did even if they didn't tell anyone, everyone knew they were going to see Valeria and talk.

Kol never went to see her.

He thought as soon as he saw her he would want to take the dagger out just to talk to her for some minutes then dagger her back but everyone knew he wouldn't put the dagger back.

He would just take Valeria and run with her.

But the rest of the siblings would check in constantly.

"That's one of the things he's been doing to keep himself occupied other than traveling to find a witch to figure out how to fix this.." the hybrid continued. "I'm not even sure you can hear any of us...but it's at least comforting to think you can"

Hayley took a deep breath and set her hand on Valeria's. "You have no idea how much we need you right now, well you probably do since you know them so well and you know there's always a problem but we need you around..."

"To lighten up the mood with your sarcasm or you and Kol making fun of Elijah and klaus...to even hear your heels clicking through the compound" Hayley felt her tears about to pour out her eyes.
