Chapter 24

***SHORT CHAPTER***
*Emory's Pov*
I woke up and rolled over, Kendrick wasn't there but, I was used to that by now. I brushed my teeth and I looked in the mirror and saw my growing belly. (Picture at the top) Why would someone want to leave their baby and fiancé? I shook my head and went downstairs and suddenly remembered what happened last night. I instantly broke down on the stairs when I saw Kendrick's cracked phone. He was so hurt, he felt my pain and for the first time I actually thought he loved me. But, I guess he didn't because if he did he would be here for me right now. I sobbed until I didn't have anymore tears and wobbled down stairs. I sat on the couch and got kicked hard in the side by the baby. I decided that it would be best if I just laid back down in the bed, I was hungry too, but when I tried to get up the baby would make me feel nauseous so, I decided to lay on the carpet in our bedroom since I couldn't make it to the bed. Luckily, my phone was on the floor. Nothing else could possibly go wrong could it? I started scrolling down my Instagram timeline when my phone vibrated. It was a text from Lisa.
Backstabber💔👊😡- *picture of her and Kendrick sleeping* your boyfriend is a good pillow. Or should I say my boyfriend? He's not coming back to you.
Me- We will see about that.
Backstabber💔👊😡- Yes we will.
I read her message and threw my phone across the room. I hope that my baby is a girl, because when she is born I will teach her how to never depend on a man. I will teach her to never give her heart to someone that she just met, and most importantly how to never say I love you to a cheater because, those three words should only be reserved for a man she can't live without and a real man wouldn't cheat anyways. I looked down at my belly and started talking to my baby. "Listen, baby, I love you. Your daddy will come home soon, don't worry, we will be okay." And with that we went back to sleep.
