Liana frowned as she looked down at her hands. The bouquet had been full of red roses and pink tulips. Her and Coco's favorite flowers. It had been the gift from her mother to celebrate the couple's 3 year anniversary. The two had known each other since the were 5, and gotten married when they were 23. Liana entered her and her husbands clean room, walking on the blackish gray carpet. Coco had bought her a greenish white vase a few years back for their first anniversary, so Liana only found it fitting to place the flowers into it.

Boo

"AAAH!" Liana shrieked, jumping back onto her bed.

Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean to scare ya!

"W-who are you?"

I'm a ghost! Wanna meet my good friend? Emerald?

"Who?"

Hi! I'm Emerald!

Oops i think I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Katrina! Katrina Adkins. AKA your mums good ol' cousin!

Liana felt her heart skip a beat. 'Katrina? Like the one my mom hates? This can't be...' She thought to herself.

Oh, but it can be! And it is! Do you want to know why, exactly your mum doesn't liek talkin about me?

'Because your a horrible person?...' Liana thought before feeling herself drift off to sleep.

Don't worry, we'll show you!

Emerald felt like her heart must have stopped altogether. The heir to the throne, Lina, was standing there, bloody knife in hand, over the corpse of her own cousin. Every in the kingdom had been aware of the fact that the royal family hadn't exactly been... thrilled with the fact that Katrina became "slur-speaking, metal singer." (personally, Emerald preferred classical music, but that was besides the point) but the small teen had never expected them to kill her over it! Katrina's bloody arm had been thrown so that it lay only a few feet away from her. The blood had smeared the concrete, and Katrina's tattoo, that was supposed to look like a web with a spider on it, had been almost unrecognizable with the blood that had been spread on it. Emerald looked up at the murderer and couldn't stifle a scream any longer as she saw the bluish-green eyes had been on her.  A smile had creeped on to the princesses face before she charged. Emerald didn't have enough time to think before a knife had been lodged in her throat.

First there was pain. Pain that screamed. Pain that made her want to die, as she fell to the floor. But the pain luckily didn't last too long.

Then, there was numbness. There was no pain any longer. Nothing. There was no Emerald any longer. There was only nothing, as the petite girl felt herself get pulled even farther down into the nothingness.
