CHAPTER-IX

Arshi room
Night

It was a tiring day for Arshi as they layed down on the bed cuddling each other. Arnav's head was on Khushi's chest and Khushi was caressing his hairs placing kisses in between. Arnav was lost in thoughts while Khushi was calling for him.

Khushi; Arnie Arnie Arnie..!(Shaking him)
Arnav; Ha ha baby kya hua why are you shouting??
Khushi; Chhillati nahi toh aur kya karti? I was calling you since 5 minutes and you weren't responding. Why were you dazed? Thinking about Anjali?
Arnav; Ohh sorry baby I didn't hear you then. Yes I was thinking about all the family members. How easily they accepted an outsider as a family and treated you as non-existent. I am so disappointed in everyone and mainly in myself ki yeh sab hua aur mujhe pata bhii nahi chala. Sablog uss kal aaye ladke ko mujhse compare kar rahe they kisine yeh tak nahi socha ki tumhe kitna bura lagega. Agar yeh sab sunkar tumhe misunderstanding ho jati aur tum mujhe chhodkar chali jati toh mai kya karta..??(Shivering with the thought of her going away from him)
Khushi; Baby listen to me carefully mai tumhe kabhi chhodkar nahi jati KABHI BHII NAHI kyunki I love you and I trust you tumne mujhe kaha tha ki tumhari and Sheetal ke past mei koi sambandh nahi they I know it. And I know you would never lie to me about something as serious as this. Right love?
Arnav; Ha I will never lie to you. I was so scared when Anjali was about to hit you with the Vase. It was just like meri toh jaan hii chali gayi thi yeh sochkar ke agar woh Vase tumhe lag jata toh.... Mai marr jata coz I can't leave without you. Promise me ki tum mujhe kabhi chhodkar nahi jaogi. Hum dono sath mei marenge (hysterically) PROMISE ME DAMMIT YOU WOULD NEVER LEAVE ME ALONE IN THE WORLD FOR ANY POSSIBLE REASONS. IF WE LIVE WE LIVE TOGETHER AND DIE THEN DIE TOGETHER...!
Khushi; Yes baccha I promise okay. Shhh shant ho jao na see am afraid now. I love you and can't leave without you and will never leave you and go. We LIVE TOGETHER DIE TOGETHER.... I love you baccha HUMESHA AND FOREVER.
Arnav; I love you too Hamesha and baby am sorry for scaring you but what if....
Khushi ( Cuts him in the middle); There will be no what ifs and we will always be together baccha now sleep. (She patted his back and caressed his hairs so that he can sleep peacefully)

Khushi was successful in making Arnav sleep but still he had a tight grip around her waist his face was snuggled in her chest. His hold on her waist was very tight as if she will go away from him if he loosened it up. Arnav was really frightened from the Vase incident. Khushi was thinking about everything that happened today and Arnav's possessiveness about her how he would cease to exist without her but she was not afraid neither dreaded it. She loved it just like she loved him because she knows that she will cease to exist without him as well. Whatever Anjali did today Khushi will make her pay back ten folds. The way Anjali used Arnav and always talked about mom's promise infuriated Khushi. She was thinking how to help Arnav ovwrcome this situation because if she didn't then he would again go back to being the ruthless ASR who would again block himself. Thinking about this she came to a conclusion that is to give Arnav his childhood back. To pamper him like a mother pampers her child love him like how a wife loves her husband immensely. She would become her hubby's friend, wife, mother whenever he needed.
