Prologue

"Yoona! Seol Yoona!!" I tilt my head and smiled to my bestfriend, Bae Jinsol

"Ya! I told you to wait for me" she pouts

"Sorry"

"That's all that you can say? Nojam Yoona, nojam" Bae shakes her head

"I need to go to the bathroom" I followed her and we check ourselves on the mirror

"Yoona, are you nervous? They're going to call you up there wouldn't they? As expected, you have the highest score on the entrance exam" Bae says while fluffing her hair

"I am nervous" Bae sighed

"There you go again with your monotonous tone" Bae let out another sigh, "Anywho, you're just going there with your hair down like that?"

"Yes?" Bae sighed again

"Nojam Yoona, atleast style them so you could stand out more" Bae says while putting lip tint on

"I think you're pretty" suddenly a voice came from behind us, I could feel my hair being comb and slightly pulled "but I think you're more beautiful like this" I look into the mirror and that person pulled the side of my hair and tied it into a simple knot

"See? Beautiful" I tilt my head and lock eyes with a beautiful deep black eye and a honey-like smile

"Also, if you're nervous, just look at me when you're walking towards the podium. Later" and just like that, she smiled and walked away

"Oh! That's Haewon unnie" Bae says

"Do you know her?" I asked

"She's the student council's Vice President, she's very smart and friendly but her MBTI is ESTP so you know she would just do things that she pleases, like earlier. Also, she's my neighbor" Bae laughs

"Does MBTI really matters when it comes to personality?" I asked, Bae is giving me a disbelief look

"Yoona! Of course they matter! Well you're an ISFP so I get why you're like that" Bae nodding to herself, "lucky you have an ENFP bestfriend like me to make your life more interesting" Bae pats herself on the head looking satified

"Sol-i we have to go or we're going to be late to the new student ceremony" We went out of the bathroom and walk to the auditorium

"Hello and welcome to Incheon Nonhyeon High School, for all of you here, this must be the new journey of your academic life" The principal says

"And now, we will hear a few words from our first year representative. Seol Yoona, please come to the front" calm down, Yoona, you can do this

I walk towards the podium, I can feel my body trembles. "You can do it" I hear someone says as I walk closer to the podium. I look up and see her again, showing that sweet smile and eyes full of adoration towards me

Somehow, the nervousness went away. I went to grab the mic and starts saying a few words. Everyone clapped for me when I was done but I only hear the sound of her voice "See? I knew you can do it"

I look behind and saw her giving me the brightest smile that I've ever seen. The end of my mouth curled as I bow down "Good Job" I heard her said as I walk down from the podium

For some reason, my heart beats faster than normal. What is this? This is the first time I feel like this..

Present Day

"Excuse me? Have you seen Haewon sunbae anywhere?"

"President Oh? I think I saw her walking towards the rooftop earlier" and with that the tall girl starts running

"Wow she's really beautiful" a girl with a black hair said

"That's Vice President Seol Yoona, she was scouted by the student council from the minute she entered this school. Not only she's beautiful, she's smart as well. She was last year student representative"

"No wonder she became a Vice President"

"I heard there's another reason why the student council wanted her but I'm sure this is just a rumor"

"What is it?"

Sullyoon arrived at the rooftop and opens the door to find Haewon gazing at the sky, "Sunbae, I've been looking all over the school for you" Sullyoon starts walking closer towards her and stand beside her

"Sullyoon" Haewon said

"Yes sunbaenim?" Sullyoon replied and turn her face to look at Haewon instead of the sky

"I think I like you"
