Birthday Wishes

  Cassandra took in a deep breath, letting it go the moment she opened the doors. here goes nothing, Cassandra thought to herself, before every eye in the room turned to her. Tammy shrieked with excitement at the sight of Cassandra and ran over to her with enthusiasm and pure joy. 

               pulling each other into a warm hug eased the tension within Cassandra. 

"Everyone! - ' Shouted Tammy over the music which in turned caused the Dj to quiet down the raging sound.  " I would like to introduce to you, Cassandra Evans, the Birthday girl and Guest of Honor tonight!" 

         Within moments of finishing her announcement the whole restaurant erupted into cheers and Cassandra was bombarded with overly enthusiastic people, that have been excited to meet her, ever since Tammy started talking nonstop about her over a year ago. 

" It is such a pleasure to finally meet you, Cassandra!' shouted a blonde hair girl with the same features as her twin sister standing beside her. ' My name is Mary, and this is my twin, obviously-

Mary's Twin rolled her eyes before smiling warmly at Cassandra and sticking her hand out for a handshake. " My name is Kylee, it's nice to meet you mystery girl." Mary threw her elbow into her twin's side causing her to grunt with the force. " Ouch what was that for?" Kylee seethed towards her sister lowering her hand, the wanting of a handshake was momentarily forgotten in the midst of their quarrel. 

" And---This is Blake, he's been my childhood friend since we were practically babies" Tammy began to pull Cassandra to the other guests in the building introducing her to them one by one. Cassandra was grateful for Tammy for pulling her away from the awkwardness of the twins. their bickering could still be heard from behind them. 

"Hello, nice to meet you!" Cassidy said pretending to be timid and shy but, in all reality, she was observing her surroundings and taking in the faces of everyone inside the building. 

 reminding herself that Viotech agents could be cleverly hiding in plain sight waiting to strike at any moment. and that anyone of Tammy's friends could very well be one of them and with that thought Cassandra kept her guard up even more. 

Yet Blake was a very handsome man with brown hair, green eyes and a chiseled jaw that would make any GQ model envious. His smile was welcoming and radiant, and with one swift motion he picked Cassandra's right hand up and kissed the back of her hand softly.

"The pleasure is all mine" Blake's voice was smooth and deep, as he sent a mischievous wink to Cassandra. She didn't know whether to be flattered or disgusted by his behavior.

"Okay Mr. Cassanova that is enough, she is off limits" Tammy glared at Blake and crossed her arms as if a mother was scolding her child. Blake pouted " Your no fun, Tam!" he blurted out before turning around and heading directly to the bar. 

     after being introduced for what felt like an eternity the Dj turned up the music and the party was in full swing, the Twins found Cassandra again and dragged her and Tammy to the bar where Jake was putting on the performance of a lifetime as he made their drinks.  Cassandra was blown away by the way Tammy was able to turn Travino's bar and Grille into a breath taking Greek themed party. 

      Tammy was always fond of Greek mythology and always found ways to incorporate that in her day-to-day life. so, it was no surprise that there were servers dressed in nothing but silk garments with gold accented jewelry and tribal tattoos.  some of the servers had grapes on their golden trays and were feeding the woman and men grapes off the vines. The decorations were breathtaking, and the food was delicious.
